I've used the cheaper stuff and it's not the easiest to work with or as durable. This stuff is thick and tough. Don't waste or risk by using the cheap stuff

It is just what we ordered and needed for the job to tile our shower. Holding up great so far.

I have bought this three times already. EVERY single time, they send me 63 feet instead of 65 feet. Two feet is not a big deal, but it is irritating. Maybe their warehouse guy needs some glasses or something. True Kerdi membrane has the measurements printed on it so you can see how many feet you have without unrolling it. There is no excuse to be cutting it short EVERY time.Other than that, this is NOT for a do it yourselfer. This is construction material for skilled workers. I installed many showers before switching to this new system, and it was even difficult for me to transition. There is a steep learning curve to do it properly, and this is NOT something you want to get wrong. The Kerdi brand actually puts on seminars to teach contractors how to use it. I can't see a homeowner successfully using it without future problems.Hint: I used to buy the expensive "membrane thinset" from Lowes and it did not work well. I constantly had places that did not stick at all no matter what consistency I mixed the thinset or how much I put on the wall. I finally tried to use the regular Versabond from home depot and it is MUCH better! The regular Versabond is superior to almost anything else I have used.

we used multiple Schluter Kerdi products and found them to easy to install and use. the multiple products allowed you to confidently upgrade you shower.

Exactly what we were looking for! I haven’t installed yet but plan to soon. Just make sure you watch YouTube videos on how to properly install.

It was easy to work with and apply. I feel confident that it will work as promised.
