I love this ludicrously large hat. It's way too big to wear in the car, don't drive wearing this thing. Great sun hat, but it can easily get carried away on the wind, or carry YOU away if you're not careful. I bought this for a costume and I love the reactions I get from people. It's far too big of a hat to be taken seriously in, so if you really want shade, laughs, and to feel very Extra, I do recommend this hat. It makes me very happy.

So stylish and great size! Fits great and provides excellent coverage from the sun. Holds it shape well and is lightweight and comfortable to wear. Overall it's a great hat.

Love the hat!! It’s huge ….. it rained in us and I used it to cover my head… no rain even came through the hat,,. Easy to shape for different looks… make sure u iron it out before traveling … will buy again … fits over braids

but the brim is only 10” but will work for what i need and very reasonable price. not sure if the folds will fall out tho

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely loved this hat. The quality was great, it covered my neck, shoulders and back perfectly. The color went well with my neutral and tropical vacation clothes. It did blow off of my head once, but I adjusted the strings found inside of the hat and no more issues. It was also a great price for how much use I got out of it. Vacation must have. I loved how big it was, it kept people distant from me as I walked with confidence in small places like the elevator or side walks, people often waited or allowed me past, I felt like a Queen.

The hat is great, fun, and it’s really good quality, however, the horrible packaging kind of ruins the hat! I get that it’s really big but I don’t know if I’m ever going to get these creases out of it. The creases make it really hard to fold up the sides and stay up. Im only 5’2, so it makes it really hard to see when Im walking around. Not sure why it’s not rolled instead of folded. Also, it’s really heavy, understandably, but consider that before you purchase. Not 100% sure if I’m keeping it or not.

I saw this ginormous hat in SATC, and I wanted it immediately. Can you get a reasonable, operate-in-public-27-inch version? Sure, but who wants to look reasonable when you're making a fashion statement while lounging in the sun?Why you might want to get this hat:1. All inclusive resorts where you are pretty sure you will nap in a sun chair any minute or you plan on just chit-chatting and sipping bevvies for hours.Bonus: This is packable if you roll it like they show you! I took out my ancient iron, gave it a little steam, and boom, like new2. Competing in a derby day craziest hat contest (I would glue little ponies running around the brim as a track)3. You're going tubing with friends, and want to look cute while protecting your 38 year old skin from the sun- PS it got soaking wet multiple times, and dried out pretty fastOther stuff I love about it:You can roll one side, there's string for it that you don't notice unless you're looking for it. If you don't use the string, it does unravel a lot. I bought a hat pin for it because I'm finicky about a just-right roll and arch.The guide wire in the brim IMO is just the right strength for giving an arch to peak out from.What I wouldn't use it for: Gardening, staying out of the rain, driving, anything requiring visibility beyond grabbing a bevy, eating nachos, or tipping someone.
