High Storage Capacity, Good Bluetooth Range
I installed this in a server room rack to collect temperature and RH data. As the room is in a locked room behind keycard access control, I really wanted to be able to walk by and collect my data without having to enter the space.I've found that I can easily collect data over bluetooth to my smartphone through the door and walls at a distance of about 50 feet. In fact, there is a little bench down the hall where I can sit and grab my readings. So far, I've been collecting continuous data since May 25th (just over 1 month) and the datalogger memory is still not full (T, RH, Max, Min). The graphs produced are very nice and readable - suitable for presentation, and raw data can be downloaded in CSV and other useful formats. Share to SMS, email, etc. with a click. I have been very impressed with this unit's usability and data retention. Battery life is also excellent. The user app is top notch and easy to use. I have checked accuracy by placing this little logger into another server room with an expensive, dedicated monitoring unit and found excellent agreement between temp and RH values. Thus far, I have no criticisms of this logger. Excellent performance for the price.

Can not count on MX1101 to work
Unit worked the day I received it. It didn't have the connectivity range of less expensive units I have, but it worked. Nice feature set on the device and the app. The next day I could not connect to the unit. Tried all the usual solutions (power cycled the MX1101 and phone, turned bluetooth off and on). Nothing worked. The unit would periodically show a strong connection signal, but it would quickly lose the signal. I could never get it to connect. While the app was trying to connect, it would periodically just shut down.Spent a lot of time on the phone with Mike at Onset tech support. Great guy. Confirmed that my phone (Moto G Gen 3), android version (6.0) and app version were all suitable / correct. We tried everything he could think of. Unit would not connect. His best guess was that the unit was defective. At that point all he could do was tell me to contact the seller.I contacted Tequipment (the seller) and a helpful person spent a few minutes collecting all my information. They were about to give me a RMA# when they suddenly realized that since my order had been fulfilled by Amazon they could not do anything for me. At that point I was told that I needed to contact Amazon.Amazon return process is pretty painless (if you don't count all the time you waste printing labels and driving to the post office). I sent it back and will not be ordering a replacement. I don't think the app or the MX1101 are ready for prime time just yet. There are other units that work well (albeit with fewer features) for about a third of the price. If the MX1101 had worked, it would have been worth the price I paid for it. But all the features in the world are worthless if you can't get your data when you need it.I could not recommend this unit to anyone.

Questionable long term reliability, great while it lasted.
Loved the unit while it lasted. I used it indoors at a vacation house to monitor temp & humidity. Nice being able to download data in various time blocks. After 4 years the unit no longer gave accurate temperature readings. No repair services offered by the manufacturer. Too expensive to buy a new one every 4-5 years. RIP

Very Nice - Could benefit from one new feature
I like this unit as it is easy to setup and produce long term results in spreadsheet format. The customer service is responsive if you have a question. My only downside is that the unit does not have a way to calibrate it. If you determine that the humidity reading needs an adjustment you can only do it after you have produced a readout. In other words if the humidity reads 2% high, you will have to subtract 2% on the humidity value on your spreadhseet.

Exactly what I needed - affordable data collector
Ordered to get a handle on the humidity levels in my home. This data logger does exactly what I needed - it collects RH and temps at a selected interval (I chose 5 minutes) and stores the data until its downloaded to the iPhone app. Data can be exported to different formats as well as graphed on the app. I can move this around the house and collect data to measure the efficiency of the HVAC units.
