Very good low speed control and startup, super slow!
The media could not be loaded. Don’t be fooled this unsensored motor has better low speed control and startup than most sensored setups. It won’t if you are geared too high but that’s with any motor. I have this motor paired with a mamba x and run a 9t pinion and 45t spur in my trx4 with the 2 speed and it’s a great motor. Btw I have the 1750kvThe only con for this motor is that it’s not waterproof. There are no seals and the holes that you use to mount the motor go all the way through. Not saying that it will quit working if it gets wet or submerged but it will need proper maintenance if water gets in it.Now, I waterproofed it myself using dielectric grease bc I live in the south and the only spots to run my crawler is dirt hills and ditches lol so I took it apart and put dielectric grease where the seals would normally be and if you do this, MAKE SURE you put dielectric grease in the mounting holes. This motor will crawl with some of the best if your gearing is setup correctly and it sounds cool too due to it being unsensored, it sounds like a spaceship or something lol.I definitely recommend if you’re on a budget or if you can’t afford one more expensive, even if you can you don’t have too. I would get it now while it’s only $40 bc that is a good deal for what you’re getting.

Great Buy what being "non-sensored"
Heres the gig -This isn't as smooth as a brushed hw1080 holmes setup,It's not as nice as the brushless 2 in 1's...But it's a seriously great motor for the price. Somehow it's pretty smooth and NOT sensored, with little cog. It sits on my TRX4 w/ Traxx kit. and it's super torquey, with almost zero heat build-up. It's good at crawling and great at trailing.

Review. Since no one else has.
A crawler motor that's sensorless. I rolled the dice on this one. And honestly i was kinda surprised. Impressed even... Now, this motor was in my 1.9 wraith (crawler not bouncer) controlled with a SV3 (tuned on castle link, throttle curves turned down.) Powered by 2s. I hit the trail expecting "cog city" but it really didn't. It will cog if you try to make it or expect to roll SUPER slow, but it handles slow very well, it just needs a tad more throttle to get started. It felt different at first but about 20 minutes in. It was fine, it felt like a solid motor, I had no overheating issues, it didnt mind water either (i knew it wouldn't care)On a 2s it produced estimated wheel speeds of a 27-35t on 3s with torque of 45-55t on 3s. It's well worth a try if you want to check out brushless power without investing in a roc412. Its even better If you have an old Sidewinder 3 laying around, or in your truck already.

good motor
this little motor really impressed me.i have it in a 2.2 wraith with stock equivalent gearing its got loads of low end torque considering its a sensor-less. very little cogging and some nice speed. the motors appear to be hand assembled, the rotors appear to be neodymium magnets and yes there are actually 6 poles and 9 slots. and its equipt with NSK bearings right out of the box. in all a solid brush-less motor with plenty of torque for your crawler

Yes
Low speed torque! It is going to be purchased again

Torque Monster
Great motor dont expect speed but lots of torque parts WILL break before this motor gives. I put in a gen8 and tested in against the gen8 axe not as fast but has more torque literally and is priced very well.

Want a brushless crawler? Buy a 6 pole tenshock!
I have two of the three offered the 1750kv and the 2400kv they both perform better than expected. If you're building or upgrading your crawler to brushless these are the motors you want.

Ten shock and mamba X perfect combination
Good slow crawl control, lots of torque and minimal cog. Must run with mamba X or will cog
