Easy way to boost your fibre intake...
If you're looking for an easy way to boost your fibre intake, you might consider these Psyllium Husk capsules which are a little easier to take than the powder form of psyllium husk. I actually use the powder form to make low carb seeded crackers for my partner and then it's easy to see how the husk absorbs water and creates a glutinous substance - which I guess is what happens on a smaller scale with these easy to swallow capsules. The recommended serving is 2 capsules per day to be taken with water - so the 120 capsules here equate to a 2 month supply. There's 1200mg of psyllium husk per serving. And they're Vegan Society and Soil Association Organic certified as well as being gluten free. Impressively the cap is made from widely recyclable aluminium and the container is made from biodegradable plastic and has a plastic free paper label. This is a good quality prebiotic soluble fibre supplement that's made in Britain. It's also reasonably priced at £13.89 at time of writing. A useful supplement as it's hard to ensure you're getting enough fibre in your diet - and eco friendly too.

Natural, organic dietary supplement
These capsules contain psyllium husk fibre, which is a good natural dietary fibre to help reduce constipation. What psyllium husk does for the body is help relieve constipation and promote regularity due to its high amount of soluble fibre, which can act as a mild laxative. It absorbs water to create a gel-like substance, which keeps stools softer by carrying water through the small and large intestine. These are a good quality, organic, natural fibre with no binders of fillers, and they are vegan and gluten free. Read the label carefully. The recommended dose is two capsules per day, with a glass of water. The amount of psyllium husk listed (1200 mg) is per serving, not per capsule. There are 120 capsules in the container so that should be 2 months supply for just under £14, so reasonably good value.

I found them totally ineffective...
I found these capsules to be large and difficult to swallow. I took x2 each morning for about a month, and washed them down with a glass of water.I gave these a try as my usual ispaghula husk sachets are currently unavailable. They unfortunately had absolutely no effect on me, so they're in the bin!I mistakenly thought that Psyllium Husk is similar to Ispaghula Husk, but the effect is not the same for me...

Helps
I have IBS and have had digestive issues for years. I did not know that Psyllium Husk could be taken in tablet form until now; and I was excited to try it out.It definitely seems to be helping. My bowel movements are healthier; though I could be a drinking a lot more water. I often forget to take it with a glass of water and just take it with a moutful. It can be taken at any time of the day with a full glass of water, whereas I had been taking it after meals, like normal tablets, with a mouthful.Nevertheless it has been helping me, my bowels are healthier; and I do notice the difference when I do not take it.I would recommend it and I will be purchasing more.

EASY TO SWALLOW
These capsules are easily swallowed in spite of their size - I take them with a meal.I found the chewable fruity ones too sweet and cloying AND these seem to be more effective.Since my original submission, I have to say that for me these really work - I wish I had known about them years ago.

Not for me
Unfortunately, I can’t take this as stated it gave me very sharp stomach pains.I may try to half the quantity, I suggest for anyone else to start that way then increase.Less is more sometimes I guess, wanted to all f’d extra fibre to my already healthy diet, but will try again with lower dose.
