This is a great tool for bending soft copper lines for refrigeration and also ice makers. It was the Ridgid name alone that made me purchase it. They make good quality plumbing tools.

This is a well made tool, perfect for the home owner who needs a workable tool for occasional use. I put a 90* bend in some 3/8 fuel line, the heavy duty sleeved type (remove the sleeve first), and the bend was good, with only minor distortion of the tubing at the bend. It did take some effort to complete the bend, but not an inordinate amount. I think this is a good value, considering what higher end professional tools cost.

An absolute must have when installing hard supply lines. I specifically use Rigid for my plumbing Tools. Have always. Never a problem with Rigid Durability. Very Eaay to use.

This is the best line bender I've ever used. If you have to replace a metal brake line this tool is a must. Within a few minutes you can shape a line to look and fit like a factory replacement for a faction of the cost of one pre-shaped - that is if can find one. It easily bends and shapes the line without restricting or kinking the line. Simple to use too - open the handles, insert the line into the proper channel, and close the handles to shape the line.

After breaking a cheaper tube bender, I opted for this one.So far I've used it for 3/8" stainless hardline as well as some 3/16" bends for brake lines. It worked perfectly in both situations.The reference marks on the tool allow you to plan your bends more accurately. I had a very complicated quadruple elbow bend coming out of a brake master cylinder and going into a distribution block below. This tool made quick work of it.
