Replaced a 15 year old and tired Tivoli radio with XM. The Onyx is much easier to use, and more importantly, gets a better signal from both satellite (always almost full scale) and terrestrial repeater varies from a weak to moderate. Bottom line, the music keeps playing and never degrades even in heavy rain storms. The included antenna is inside and not even near a window but is facing a south facing wall.Audio on the line out had to be turned down to minimum. You'll have no problem feeding whatever line level device you need with this. It has been error free with no re-booting or issues and it stays on 24/7. I like that you can dim the display and go white on black text. For the price it's a bargain if you want to listen to SXM or feed it into an audio system to have always on music without dealing with streaming.

My 12 year old similar device finally crapped out. This version is much better and a snap to install, the old antennae and audio cable were compatible, but the power supply wasn’t. I like the several preset buttons.

works great...i have an older yamaha amp with a built-in xm receiver, but xm changed something recently and my older turner stopped being able to get the xm signal. this item i just connected to the aux port and back to xm radio using my same yamaha amp.

Great value for the price. I have this in my car and would like to get an extension from my vehicle. That is not possible; another subscription is required. The unit is integrated into my home system and functions well. My interest in the system came from listening in the car, waiting for the song or whatever I may have been listening to finish.There are several units to choose from. All had more functions and features, such as a full-color station listing, none of which interested me. I made a list of my favorites and programmed them into the unit. I have a call-up list on my smart device should I wish to add another program. The unit allows for programming 10 stations - Happy home listening

I live rural and cannot pick up any radio stations. I have a small auto repair shop and the building is all steel. No cell phone, radio signal can be obtained without a booster in my area. I ran the antenna on top of the building and boom!!! I now have music! I love this. The satellite picks up full strength and now have awesome music to listen to while working. The system was super easy to install into my receiver, no extra wiring, all plug n play. Quality is awesome with a great antenna receiver and the receiver itself is very easy to use and understandable. Great price for a high quality product.

Nowhere in the description does it state that since this is an Additional Radio, you’re required to buy another subscription to Sirius for this to even work. Sirius explains this as me having TWO radios now and only a subscription to one of them. I have Sirius in my car and pay for the subscription but never have I ever had to pay twice for the same service. Sirius said I could listen to Sirius for free on Alexa so I informed them that I could listen to Amazon Music for free and that I would be returning this item and continue with my 5 dollar per month (instead of 23 dollars additional) to just listen in my car.Buyer Beware!

I can't complain about the Radio but I will complain that Amazon, SiriusXM and reviews I read glossed over the antenna. Unless I was willing to have a long antenna wire strung around the room or started poking holes in the wall and ceiling, I could not get an adequate signal. I did fail to read the User Guide available on line. But never would have expected the need make holes in my house or use the entire antenna length or more to maybe get an adequate signal. Next time I'll spend more $ for something Wi-Fi compatible for my home. 3 stars because I can't fault the unit but I have issues with understated antenna dependency. Be careful. Otherwise, I really like SiriusXM in my car and phone.

I bought this to replace my 15-year-old MyFi and it was a good choice for a replacement. It is easy to set up, sounds good and the antenna is a little smaller which makes it sit in the window bettter. It also receives quite a few more channels than the MyFi which is a bonus. The only thing I don't like is having to press an additional button when entering channel numbers but am getting used to it.From a blind person's perspective it is very user friendly with easy to feel and use buttons and easily identifiable connections so it is everything I had hoped it would be.
