Great monitor, buy new!
Lenovo (IBM Company) has always made quality products, in my opinion. However, that being said, sometimes a defective unit gets sent out. I bought two of these, one of which was "used - like new" according to the Amazon merchant. Come to find out, the seller re-sold one that had been returned, and one of the USB-C Thunderbolt ports does not work, which will prevent me from "daisy-chaining" from one monitor to the next, or any other device via Thunderbolt! They also replaced the USB-C Thunderbolt that came with the new box, with some random USB C > A charge cable with a bent connector in the USB-C bag, heat-sealed to look new from the factory (Shady!). My goal was to reduce the number of cords that I would need to run to a docking station or my laptop and this was the ideal solution. The monitor that I had purchased "new" worked as expected without a hitch, in this case. I am not saying that every new monitor will be perfect, but you have a higher risk of getting a defective one if you buy a "used - like new" monitor. It's a roll of the dice, so you may have better luck than I did, because sometimes people return things for other reasons than something being broken.Update - Just FYI, if you order one of these new, for some unknown reason, the seller makes it so that if you are not home to sign for the package, you won't be able to pick it up that same day from FedEx, you have to be home at the next delivery attempt, even though fedex doesn't give you any warning they are on their way! I ran to the store 5 minutes before they arrived (mind you this was in the morning and the tracking said it will arrive by 8PM) and from my door camera I asked them to just please leave the package, but they couldn't and I called to see if I could pick it up from the distribution center on the other side of town and they said I could not because of the shipper's request. Just be sure to plan to be home the entire day for this monitor!

What you buy is what you get
Not sure what all the fuss is about with these monitors. READ THE SPECS!!! Starting to wonder if people are getting paid to leave bad reviews... my set up is two monitors daisy chained, so it was a little different with the normal on monitor setup. Working KVM mode with two laptops, 2019 Mac and 2021 Lenovo ThinkPad. The only issue I had during setup was getting things to work after switch the cables around multiple times. Power cycle your monitors and all will be fine.

Received broken monitor, asked for replacement received refund instead followed by price increase!
Purchased for $599 but received a broken monitor. I asked for a replacement, but received a refund instead. By the time I got the refund the price increased to $699. Now the price has increased further. I like the specs of the monitor (TB4, 4k, USB PD) but this has left a sour taste in my mouth in terms of experience with lenovo.

The worst, most inept customer service ever
First Lenovo purchase and I'll probably return this monitor tomorrow because of the inept customer service. The phone number was difficult to find, and then I got through the ridiculous tree and Lenovo hung up on me before I could speak with anyone. Then I attempted to email using their web-based form. Completed too much irrelevant info and then after attempting to submit the form, I get a "service busy, attempt later" message. What a third rate operation.
