Avery templates do not work, you'll need to create your own layouts
There are two parts to a label, the physical label itself, and what you print on the label. The "what you print on the label" requires either manually writing on it (not an option for a large number of labels), or printing on the labels in a printer. To print the labels in a printer, you need software and a printer. I use Word as the software, and avery makes a template for their labels to use in Word.Apparently, NO ONE at avery bothers to test the templates that they have made for their customers. The label I purchased is 1" x 2.5" long. When I open the avery template in word, and start entering information, there is about 1/2" of blank space on the left end of the label, and about 3/4" of blank space on the right end of the label. This allows you to print on about 50% of the label, and only about 6 lines of text, if you just keep typing. If you hit the "enter" key, you can only get about 4 lines of text. These labels may be great, I don't know, as I haven't created my own layout yet, to be able to actually print something on them.I'm not about to use the avery template and waste half of the label space. It's like avery didn't even bother to test their template to see if it lines up with the actual labels. You should expect to spend a lot of time figuring out how to create your own template layout to be able to use these things.
