Where are the directions for setting up this tv without google? I don't have a google account and don't want one.

Hi Waldo Emerson, Thank you for the inquiry. During the initial set-up, you can Skip Sign-in to Google. You can enjoy some functions on your Google TV device without a Google account. You can watch TV programs and enjoy all Sony apps, home network functions for the Album, Music, and Video apps and use the Network Electronic Program Guide (EPG). In addition, certain functions, such as the Google voice search function, Chromecast built-in (Google Cast), internet browsing, and the YouTube™ app, are available without logging in to a Google account.

However, you will not be able to rent or buy movies, TV shows, and apps from the Google Play™ Store. Check the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for additional information.

Is this correct? the short distance between the feet for the 55" & 65" is 33 3/8" and the 75" is 24 3/8". the 75" tv has a narrower stance?

Thank you for the inquiry! The A80K offers multi-position stand and have three variations – standard, narrow and soundbar position. The stand width will depend on the TV stand position. The XR77A80K stand width for the following:

Standard position: 1409mm (55 1/2 inch)
Narrow position: 619mm (24 3/8 inch)
Soundbar position: 1409mm (55 1/2 inch)

Stand width varies depending on the size of your television. We are more than happy to help you out. No IR blaster? Whyyy.

Thank you for your inquiry. The A80K series doesn't have supplied infrared (IR) Blaster cable. Google TV models and some Android TV models allow control without an IR Blaster, utilizing IR control from the remote.

Cable/satellite box control compatible models have [Cable/Satellite box setup] in [Settings] — [Channels & Inputs] — [External inputs].

Performing [Cable/Satellite box control setup] in [Cable/Satellite box setup] allows you to control a cable/satellite box using the TV’s remote control.

Note:
• When operating the TV’s remote control, point it at the cable/satellite box.
• Depending on the external devices, some buttons may not respond.
• If you press and hold a button on the remote control, the operation may not work. Instead, try pressing the button repeatedly.

How would you compare this to the Xr65x90k  for mostly long ps5 gaming sessions and some live sports? Im on the fence

We here at Sony understand your concerns that’s why with our A80K,A90K & A95K we have preventive features to help with this.   1. is pixel shift-this keeps the sub pixels constantly moving when static images are present in that area. 2. When you turn off the A80K or any of our OLEDS this year or in previous years the panel decharges the pixels so when you turn back on the TV its looks as vibrant as you last watched it.  3. We also have a refresh panel feature if you think you may have any screen retention, it’s a short process about 10 min or up to an hour or so and will clean up the panel for any retention.  Lastly there is always a chance for screen retention which is temporary in any content.  Please check with your preferred retailer about options to protect your product.  Hope this helps. Jay
