Surprisingly seems to work!
The Kinetik Wellbeing Allergic Rhinitis Reliever is a product I have not seen any similarity to in the past. Having been a long sufferer of hayfever I had suspicions on how well this would work, and whilst I find it difficult to verify the effectiveness of hayfever control (to this day I still don’t know which antihistamine tablet type works for me) this seems to be helping. The box highlights its partnership with St Johns Ambulance which I feel adds to the credibility of this item. Inside is the base of the device, which takes 2x CR2032 batteries (included in the box), which is also encased within a plastic sheath - I assume so it is wipe clean? This coupled with the fact that the ‘nose probes’ can be detached from the base suggest that this could be used with multiple people in your household, simply replacing the nose probes. Unfortunately I couldn’t seem to find any nose probe replacements that would fit the device at time of review so not sure how useful that would be.Inserting the probe into your nose and turning this on, the device makes your nose glow bright red for a few minutes. The advice is to hold this as far in your nose as comfortable which didn’t seem to cause any discomfort for me. I haven’t used a single antihistamine tablet in the past few weeks of using this device, any time I start feeling symptoms I use this and it seems to work for half a day or so.Overall, despite scepticism, I believe I’m seeing results with this, more effectively than with tablets. Given the price of this is about how much I spend on tablets each summer (£29.99 at time of review) I’d recommend this.

Cheap quality, broke quickly, no tangible health improvements.
Stopped working after a few months of moderate use. One of the red lights on the "prongs" and the noise to tell me when the timer finished stopped working. In all honesty, I can't say that even when it was functioning properly that I was getting any benefit/relief. Would certainly avoid this product, as the build quality is way below the price point.

switches off after 1 second with 'new' batteries inserted / fiddly to change batteries
Originally bought for nasal blockage principally on right nostril where nasal polyp present and these can sometimes be caused by allergens but device didn't have an effect so stored. Nasal polyp probably due to sinus/inner ear infection instead as blockage tends to diminish once e.g. large dose Allicin taken and/or external diluted oregano oil applied near ear. Today taking device from store (since mid 2023) to try again no power, so chnaged batteries for Maxell CR2032 (exp. 12/2024) but red light only switches on for 1 second then turns off. Will try with new batteries when they arrive but surprised still-valid Maxwell no good.

Where had this been all my life.
I can’t believe I’d never heard of this little device before and that it was an option for allergy sufferers.I have really bad hay fever and usually take quite strong prescribed antihistamines which leave me feeling super drowsy. This device not only works pretty much instantly, but there are no side effects, it’s lasts for about five or so hours until you need to use it again and I have completely stopped taking my antihistamines. You hold it in the nose for three minutes, it literally light up your nose red and then beeps when it’s done. The first time I did it I had a small sneezing fit but after that I was perfectly fine. It’s reduced, if not eradicated, all my allergy symptoms. No more itchy eyes, runny nose and sneezing.Honestly though it may seem pricey initially, it is so much better than taking tablets and it really works.
