Bought this thinking this would only be blowing air at the back of my phone. Pleasantly surprised to find that this thing is actually a heat sync with a cold plate and gets pretty chilly. Works good with phone case on but much better without.I play a lot of games and charge at the same time and am trying to extend battery health by keeping it cool.I think someone else mentioned in a review about it needing a dumb charger. Gaming activities and Florida poolside heat can result in your phone shutting down and/or really stressing the battery. This cooler does the job and is not too bulky. It is actually a refrigeration unit that cools the back of the phone and makes a significant difference in performance. my only complaint is that the magnetic disk that affixes to the back of your phoneis attached with a fairly weak adhesive, and therefore tends to fall off. I fixed this issue by using a very strong double stick tape to keep the disc on the phone

I used this for my Samsung S23 while flying my DJI Mini 2 in hot weather. My phone would get too hot while controlling the drone, using this I was able to actually fly the drone without my phone overheating.

I'm dinging it 2 stars because while it does work, they got lazy with the electronics. It needs a resistor to tell USB C PD chargers that it's a dumb device and just needs 5V. Don't expect it to work with some USB C devices.That said it certainly does help keep my Steam Deck's fans from ramping all the way up when used with the back plates that have a metal section on them.

My phone kept overheating. When I use this it cools it down fast. The magnet 3m tape didn’t stick to my device but I used the magnet to mag safe comparability.

The media could not be loaded. That's about it. It worked fine the first day of use then turned into a brick. I didn't even use it long only for a few minutes to see it work.Edit: I was asked to leave a video about the unit from the seller so here it is. I even had a different brand to compare it to.

Using in iPhone 14 Pro Max with speck cover and sucks to the magnet. Has a cold feel on the back side that sticks to phone when fan on. Impressed. Thinking of buying a backup.
