So my boyfriend lives in a house where there is no designated spot for the vent so he's had to open the window and let it go out that way. It's highly frustrating here in Utah where it's cold in the fall and winter months so in order to do laundry we freeze. So I ordered this and it works amazing. It keeps the cold air out and holds the vent in place. The velcro is very strong and was very easy to apply. I am very very happy with this product and I am glad that it has provided extra velcro. I opted not to cut the excess off because we do have an AC that has a vent. So In the summer we can move this to use for the AC because then it won't matter if the window is opened.

I have weird windows and the install kits that come with portable air conditioners, never fit properly. I always have to mess around with them to get them to fit and although I can manage, there will always be duct tape involved. And it is such a struggle. I saw this kit and decided it was cheap enough and looked like it could work. OMG I love it. It's so easy to install. I have horizontal sliding windows. All you do is cut the velcro strips into 4 pieces to fit the window opening. Adjust the window to the width of the fabric insert that has velcro already on it. You can cut this to length but I just rolled it up to fit the window, In case I need to use it elsewhere, like a patio door. This fabric panel is a heavy duty parachute type material. Very sturdy. Towards the bottom is an opening for your AC exhaust hose. It has an adjustable drawstring to fit snuggly around the hose, and another velcro strap to secure it further. The only thing it did not have was some screening for the end that sticks out the window, to prevent critters from getting in the hose. You can easily add your own. What originally came with the AC didn't really work here so I removed it. Super happy. This was so easy I think I installed it in under 15 minutes. All you need is a scissors.

I liked it was easy to install but when I need to close and lock my window is the issue. So I built a wood frame the width of the white material and the height of my window, by stapling the Velcro to the wood for easy use, so I can come and go quicker.

Perfect! Just what I was looking for since I have a weird window. This should come with every portable AC unit!!!! I've been stressing out buying all sorts of exhaust tubes, couplers and etc etc to connect my portal AC and nothing worked, except this! It's diverse and it will work with any window!!!!!

This product didn’t even last a single day. The adhesive strength of the double-sided tape on the Velcro is far too weak. The Velcro itself has an insanely strong grip, but the adhesive that connects it to the wall is so weak that after I attached the hose and went out for a bit, it just fell off. I was so frustrated that if the guy who made this was next to me, I would've punched him. (Of course, if the guy was a Giga Chad, I'd get wrecked, so I wouldn’t.)

This works ok, but I feel like it's just not right yet, I have weird windows n no screens so had to sort of rig a screen like solution and it needs to be a stiffer support where the hose is attached as we have had the hose pull off the velcro from the window frame and sill because the ac was moved an inch. But overall it's a decent solution for the problem of covering the window!

Perfect, I use this as a venting system for my laser engraver. It’s easy to install and I can easily close and open the window

I like that it keeps the heat out when I turn on the ac.
