Q: how are these boots for hiking? i prefer the soles to pretty stiff to prevent arch bruising. thanks!

This is NOT a hiking boot - it is workboot! The foot bed is meant for flat stable surfaces. These are very comfortable as comfort goes.

Q: I purchased a pair of Carhartt boot for my son at Christmas and the stitching is coming apart on the front of the boot will they exchange them ?

I had the same issue. The stitching is coming apart on the front of the boot. I plan to reach out to ask for a replacement.

Q: Can I get these in a 7.5?

not sure if they carry half sizes or not.

Q: What is the difference between the two selections brown oil tanned leather and 4" soft moc toe brown?

One is soft leather and the other is more off a thick course like (have to break in type ). I purchased the soft moc and they are super soft and amazing . My husband goes through a pair every 6 months but I wouldn’t say that for everyone … Buy them u won’t regret it. Very handsome boot too
