This chaplet is made using some kind of synthetic twisted strands string. It loosened or broke after only 2 weeks of light use. The only way to fix it would be completely to restring it. If they had used a single strand cord, I might have been able to repair it without having to restring ALL of the beads.It's obvious that it will take seamstress level skills to restring it. I'll probably just buy a different one.)
