My old struts stopped working a few years ago, and I used an old pair of vise grips to keep my hood up. These struts fit perfectly and work great. The total install time was less than five minutes, and there are instructions provided that make the install simple, even for anyone at the beginner level. This item fit perfectly on my 2007 toyota tundra double cab SR5 5.7 litre. Really quick easy install, holds the hood up no problem.

Super easy installation. Prop up hood with a stick, or something. Pop old springs off, pop new ones in. Just need a small flathead screwdriver to release clamp on old springs. Once removed, just pop on new springs. no need to loosen clamps.

Not as stiff as stock one were when new. They work well and the shipping was ideal. I'd buy them again if they last many years

They are perfect so far. They went on easy and work perfectly. FYI- Be careful not to drop the clips in the engine department. Hard to find. My bad. Product is excellent.
