Borosilicate Glass Petri Dish with Lid, Tissue Culture Dish (90 mm, Pack of 10)

On delivery a couple of the plates were damaged. One had an imperfection in the glass. Normally this would prompt me to lower my thoughts on a product. But getting a refund for the iffy plates more then made up for any disappointment felt.

good amount for the price, none came broken, and had an extra. They dont have any ports for air exchange so keep in that in mind. if doing fungi cut groves for air exchange with a diamond file, found one on here "Atoplee 10pcs Titanium Coated Mini Diamond Needle File"for less than $10. make sure to file wet or under water to prevent breakage and inhaling glass dust. unless you wanna die.

I ordered these about a month ago and finally got around to using them two days ago. They're nice dishes however, one lid was broken. It says in the description to contact them but I'm not sure how to go about doing that. I'm also not sure if they'll even honor it or not. I may order more and I may not. going to see how these look after a few uses but I do like them.

These dishes are suitable for their price.I ordered two cases, and both contained broken plates. One box only had a single item broken, which was a lid. The second box had multiple broken, and I had to send it back. The remaining dishes withstood an initial sterilization in a pressure cooker@15PSI for 30 minutes.The lids for these dishes are much too large and suck when it comes time to seal them up.All in all, I'm pleased with them, and for their price, they're a decent value. Just be prepared that if you want 10 dishes, order two cases.

One broke on arrival the others made it through the first pressure cooking session and through their first culture.I'd imagined them a little thicker but they work.I had hoped that the seller would offer a replacement but that hasn't happened yet.So far I've ordered this twice and each time one was broke.They have given a partial refund for them that I consider adequate to compensate me.The inside package could easily be taped down to prevent knocking around in there and this would fix it.Over all these are good dishes and I will happily order them again.

The quantity over quality argument is strong here. It's great pricing for 20 plates that are autoclaveable. They are thinner glass than other petris I have bought (which were much more expensive), and I did lose the tops of two to cracks from transit. Even still, it's a great value.

not really happy but the seven that were intact and worked for what I was studying, expect damaged products and hope for the best. Very overpriced but reusable so a better option than the plastic version. I'm not planning on compensation but if the seller does anything after reading this I hope they can figure out a better packing method than wax paper for preventing damage and charging $30 for 10. just saying bubble wrap might get more return costumers.

Makes great burger molds. About 1/3 lb when slightly overfilled, and you want to slightly overfill so that the cap flattens the patty nicely. Easier to fill and clean than the silicone ones, for a similar price.Plus there are 1,000 unrevealed chemicals in plastic and silicone besides BPA so you never know what you're getting even on the "BPA free" ones. In fact most plastics never had BPA to begin with but they do have the other chemicals so these statements are pretty meaningless. BPA protects metal cans and is in almost nothing else.
