Excellent Narration and storyline
Love in a Blue Moon is a very well written book with entertaining narrative. The positive points about the book are as follows:1. Simple language: The author tries to keep the language as simple as possible which means that the reader can easily finish the book without having to google for words2. Quick-paced narrative: The narrative is quick-paced and keeps the reader totally engrossed throughout the story. There is no way a reader could get bored with the book3. An interesting take on the love. Many books have been written highlighting love from a male point of view. This is probably one of the very few books describing love from a female point of view4. The book also has a refreshing take on love from present generation parents.5. A very deep and strong friendship spread over many decades and the nostalgia associated with it6. Although most of the suspenses in this book are short-lived, there are a few surprises at the end of the bookOverall, a great book which could bring joy to the readers.

A heartwarming tale of love which is full of suspense....
Story is simple yet awesome and the narrative has an emotional pull. What makes the story awesome is the narration of the book, which made reading easy, interesting and intriguing. While reading the book, I felt every emotion and the characters were like talking in front of my eyes. This is the strength of this book.

A good read!
There has been an age-old concept of a thin thread that separates friendship from love. Great friends who develop feelings over time stifle the confessions as they fear losing their bond. And some friends already are in love, but they procrastinate to test the limits of their special bonding. These tests are meant to strengthen trust, camaraderie, and dependency. The story starts with the protagonist Tulsi, who is in dire search of a classic novel called ‘Pyar ki Lahar.’ The supply of novels is dearth, and she struggles to find one that she could gift to her grandfather(dadaji). The novel holds a very special place in his heart. Luckily, she spots the novel in one of the book cafes in Mumbai, but she misses her purse and mobile at home and is in a predicament. However, a kindred soul named Charan comes to her rescue and helps her buy the novel.Charan is an intellectual, sociable, generous person who is also working as a secret service agent for the government and private agencies. He was born and raised at Vizag. Despite the cultural differences between Tulsi and Charan, they start meeting each other and soon become close friends along with Tulsi’s other friend named Jaya. Moreover, Charan helps Tulsi in many debacles that she faces in life. Gradually, Tulsi develops strong feelings for Charan only to know that he is not interested in love marriages. Despite several attempts at confessing to him, she fails with utmost fear. But what seems to be at face value is different from reality. The end unfolds layers of secrets that gradually conclude the entire tale. The book is written in simple language and can be completed in 1-2 sittings. What kept me hooked was the simplicity and the flow with which the tale was narrated. The characters are strongly built, and they can easily connect with the readers. I would certainly recommend it to the romance fiction readers out there.

Simple, yet effective
The thing I liked the most were the subtle messages about love and life spread throughout the book. People tend to forget that the world is indeed very simple, but our minds make it complex. When you detangle all the knots in your head, you understand the beautiful simplicity of the characters, and the reason why the story unfolds so well. Kudos to the author who understands it!
