This is our 2nd roll and I just ordered a 3rd! For our cats, this is the only rope that they like and it holds up well considering! It's used daily by them and lasts almost a year, so that's perfect. The price per roll is perfect and it's easy to put on. I wrap it around the 2x4 that comes on our cat tree, pulling it tight as it comes around the corners as well as tight to the row before it. I use my crown stapler about every 2 1/2" to keep it taut and it holds up well with this technique.

I had a project of repairing some counter chairs where the cross beams had been badly chewed by our puppies. I got this Jute rope with the idea of winding it around the cross beams after placing a bead of hot glue on the dross beam. The results look good. So good that it looks like the chairs were made this way.The rope did exactly what I was hoping for. It is thick enough for this job, but not so wide as to not easily wrap around the beams. The rope holds together fairly well when cut, but some glue will help keep the end from becoming too frayed.I would not use this rope for heavy jobs, but for most purposes this will work just fine.

Used it to repair a scratching post for that cats, the material is solid but the strands do separate easily when you cut it.
