Having watched all the ads in the run up to Christmas my grandson mate a list of 20!His mum edited that list and this made the cut.He's played with it over and over since he opened it. Brought him hours of pleasure.

This is a great quality toy truck for kids. The side opens and a smaller car can fit inside.It seems like it’s well made too. Good quality for the price tag of just over £12.

I feel the need, the need for speed. Ok, this time it's cars rather than planes but you get my drift, so will this Truck playset deliver?I seem to have some vague memories from my 80's childhood where I had cars that would come apart and you could swap bonnets and body with other versions, and it's similar here, with these T-Racers. In this set you get one car, one driver and the transport truck.I really like the look of everything and the driver can drive either the car or sit in the cabin of the truck whilst transporting everything to the track (or lounge).The back of the truck's trailer opens out into a little garage area, where spare yellow tyres are stored and the car can be "worked" on. Then there is the added bonus of the car launcher mechanism. However speed freaks, don't get too excited as the amount of push force this thing generates isn't amazing and certainly not a patch on any Hot Wheels launch mechanisms. It pushes the car out and off the ramp but you aren't going to break any records. I was a bit disappointed with it.A few things to note the truck is pretty securely packaged so an adult will probably be required to help the unbox and there are also a number of decorative stickers that need to be applied.Don't get me wrong, younger kids will still enjoy this set and if you have any of the other cars from the series then it's sure to be more fun, but those with children maybe a bit older, looking for speed, might just get a bit frustrated with that launcher.

My grandson is vehicle mad and so he loves this toy, firstly you prepare your car by making any adjustments you want at the service area, change wheels and swap parts out and you can even change drivers! Once done charge it up and get ready to race, you then place the car in launcher and away you go. What my grandson likes is the well made highly coloured cars, the fact there is a garage where you can prep or repair your car and the stickers that come with the racer that let's him decorate the cars. What I like as the adult is how durable it is, the various parts to the toy that keep him interested but also how well it can be stored away afterwards. A very good toy at a very reasonable price.
