Received the rubber as a very small roll. The label listed it as being 12" x 36", but after removing the wrapper the actual size is 12" x 12". Returning it to Amazon as not as advertised.UPDATE: After contacting the seller, it was determined that someone had scammed the system by buying, repackaging and then returning this product. RSW was quick to respond and provide a replacement and refund. I have changed my rating from 1 star to 5 star because of the outstanding customer support. The product itself is exactly as specified, a solid sheet of rubber, not spongy but pliable.

Purchased so that I could use in an area where a drip irrigation line ran. Put the mat on top of the irrigation line, then placed the small rocks on top of that. This area is right where dog runs thru and this eliminated the displacement of the rocks which would expose the irrigation tubing. The mat is thin enough to do the job without squashing the tubing. Problem solved.

Almost gave it 5 stars. Then almost gave it 4.Although the rubber feels very strong and durable,......... the smell is truly the worst scent I have ever smelled on a piece of rubber. I honestly have to keep it outside because it is impregnating my entire living room airspace and it smells so toxic . Maybe it will de-scent in time.

I mean, it's a rubber sheet, what are you expecting? It's solid neoprene rubber, it's not a foam rubber, nitrile or silicone so don't get it for those applications. It has a strong odor as rubber will. Set it out to air out and it'll be fine. No leeching of chemicals.

Smells absolutely horrible. Attempted to air it out for several days but it still stinks to high heaven. I cannot use it for the intended purpose because it would be indoors and the smell is too strong and off putting.
