Break in period was tedious but after 100 rounds it works flawlessly. It feels very sturdy and has the quality of Hornady. I love this press

Great for first time reloaders!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it! He says it's easy to use and perfect for reloading our rifle and handgun shells. Ammo is so expensive these days. This saves us some money and allows us to customize our hunting rifle ammo.

Good kit
The press is a single stage press. In Hornady marketing materials they say it blurs the line between a single stage and a progressive. That is pretty much total B.S. The priming system is interesting, but not terribly useful. At least for my workflow. I tumble, lube, size, remove lube in ultrasonic cleaner, then prime. I suppose you could tumble a freshly primed case, but I never would. The real reason to buy this kit, is kit. In one box you have almost everything you need to get started. Besides the obvious, dies, cases, other components, which you need. I would also highly recommend a powder trickler, and a headspace gauge set, these you don't really need, but they make your life easier.
