Got this book as a gift for my aunt who loves all things country music. She didn't already have it so that's a bonus and it has some interesting tidbits in it that she didn't know so another bonus. Makes a nice gift!

I liked this book. Wonderful stories that is interesting to read, the stories behind the songs and the songwriters. A book that I will pick up and read again. I would say it was a book that inspired me. I have loved country music since I first heard Randy Travis in 1989, and have since then been interested also to get to know the songwriters behind the great songs. So, I would say, a very nice book. Very vell written. Very well presented. If I should say something, it would be, that there could possible be many more books written about the great well known songs and songwriters in country music. We often hear the artists singing them, but there is a story behind, who wrote them. So thank you.

If you ever wondered how your favorite country songs came to be and who wrote them this is the book for you. Some of the songwriters profiled in this book you may know since they are also performers but others you may not know but you do know their songs that got radio airplay and sold millions of copies.
