The lids are brilliant.
I got this to replace my old wet and dry grinder and the lids for the grinding cups are pure genius! No more spilling garlic and ginger or tomatoes, does a great job of grinding too. I'd happily recommend.

Would recommend.
Does what it says on the tin. No problems so far.

It breaks easily
It's good for the price but the connection is easy to break. It lasts a year unless you don't disconnect the coffee container.

Good girnder
Does a great job, BUT it was very difficult to undo the cup from the base!It needed alot of elbow grease -- maybe that should be indicated somewhere.

Fire hazard.
Bought as a spice grinder. Wet & Dry. First job out the box, ginger root. Cut into small pieces to assist the grinder. 5 seconds of use smoke was billowing out of the base where the motor is. Very hot, fire hazard. Do not recommend...

30 minute delay required between herbs and spices
What they don’t tell you about this is that if you want to grind multiple herbs and spices, you’re going to have to stop and give this machine a 30 minute rest so its motor can cool down. That was in the instructions, which surprisingly, given UK regulations, wasn’t included in the package. Instead there was a horrible plastic, paper backed sticker on the machine, that was already starting to peel off. This gave you a link to get these. There was also a sheet of paper, four colour printed in multiple languages, telling you why they’d decided not to include an instruction booklet. This, according to them, is for environmental reasons. Of course this is belied by the use of the horrible plasticized sticker and plastic bags in the packaging. And printing, stapling, folding and trimming booklets, or getting a multi fold on a large sheet of paper, is an expense, as is the cost of inserting into the carton. Removing the sticker was the typical time consuming pain that consumers shouldn’t have to undergo in the 21st century. As a coffee grinder this works very well, though it’s worth stopping and shaking every now and then, as part cut beans can get stuck under the blade (as they can in other grinders). I found it very easy to get the grind I wanted, both for cafetière use and my espresso machine. It’s also very easy to clean. The wet grinder also works well, though as you’d expect, cleaning takes a little more effort. And again, it’s easy to get the cut you want. The 30 minute rest time is a real inhibitor to the functionality of this machine if you’re batch cooking with fresh herbs and spices. And that gets it marked down. The two plastic lids (One for each cutter insert) fit well, remain attached in use and are easy to get off. The top lid, which looks an encumbrance, isn’t, though it requires worktop space when you’re using the machine. The lead on this is short, so if you’re short of electrical sockets, or they’re in an awkward place, it’s worth bearing that in mind. This came with a plastic spoon with a brush on the other end. That’s gone into the kitchen junk drawer.Would I buy this again? No. It’s easy enough to use and clean, but if I’d known about the cooling down interval, I’d have bought something else.
