Hanayama Loop Puzzle

I am giving it five stars because the quality is superb (as per usual with Hanayama products) and the description clearly shows that the difficulty level of this puzzle is 1 (the easiest), so the product is exactly as it is advertised and I have no right to lower my rating.It comes with a leather cord and the two pieces of the puzzle stays together with magnets once solved, this item can be worn as a novelty - although somewhat large - necklace.However, if you are looking for a challenging puzzle, this is not one of them.

Quality very average.

Very clever "Level 1" puzzle. A great gift to a beginner or a non-puzzle person, but its beauty and simplicity will also appeal to seasoned puzzle-solvers. Potentially a great conversation piece, since you can solve it in one or two seconds, but most of your "audience" will not be able to repeat what you just did, even if you let let them look.

This is the only one of many Hanayama puzzles I have which arrived other than in its one-piece state. It does have to though in order to make it any kind of puzzle at all, since undoing it from the one piece loop is a complete giveaway of the straightforward solution.

A great beginner puzzle to gain confidence. Unless you're some kind of topological savant, you need to start with the easy Hanayama puzzles. This is well made and beautiful, as with all Hanayama. Even when you know the solution, this can still be appreciated as a stunning sculpture and talking point.

As a maths teacher this is an essential tool to keep pupils thinking and engaged once they've finished classwork. Love the whole Hanayama collection.
