Great speaker
Sound is pretty good, especially for the price. I got it on sale for $150 ish and that's less than the price of a Sony Ult 3 or JBL Charge 6. It's bigger and definitely less portable but has more capability too. I bought it for my permanent camp site so I needed something with more oomph but still a little portability and this does the trick.

Good tunes
Very loud speaker. I wished it connected to my old rav mini speaker. I also wished the lights didn't come on when I press the power button

Perfect fit for my business.
I own a small homeschool business where I utilize the vast benefits of the study of ballet and martial arts, with teaching science to middle school and high school age students. In the dance studio part of my center, I needed a good sound system, but I could not afford any top end system. Then I stumbled on this product (actual someone gave open to my nephew and when he showed me the system, I knew it was the right fit for what I needed.). The issue that I had, not with the unit, was that where it was located and where my computer was (you do not need a computer there is an Audio Jack Port) my Bluetooth adapter was not strong enough to get a good signal to it, so the music paused or wavered. Once I purchased the ASUS USB-BT500 Bluetooth adapter, the range was dramatically improved, and the performance of the sound system is incredible. I highly recommend it. It's even great when showing movies. Feels like surround sound. :)

Soundcores Mishap
I am a phonetic when it comes to good sounding music and I have listened to a Soundcore Rave for a few years now and I must say that I am impressed that such music is delivered from such a small speaker!!!!!!( A homerun Soundcore) I use mine everyday in a challenging area for a Bluetooth speaker. The construction site..... In the painting aspect no less, so I can't complain that my first Rave quit charging after a few years. They take a beating every day in one respect or another. Whether it be rain, mud, dust, paint, an occasional flying object or being dropped, it's a cruel environment for any speaker. Although I can say I was heartbroken, I loved that speaker. I tried new adapters and the plug seemed to be making good contacts so I began my search for Soundcores replacement. That was going to be a big shoe to fill, believe me. I went to Amazon's Site and instantly became excited when I seen the Soundcore Rave Party 2 's advertising... I mean it should sound better with more watts, 40 more watts!!!!!! OMG I was excited and ordered one right then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Rave 2 does not impress me like the Rave did. The Raves sound was in my opinion "much richer" for lack of a better word. It put out such good sound I have actually turned it on at the house rather than my Onkyo or Yamaha home system. Which consists of 8 15's, a few mids and some tweets from the likes of Polk, Paradigm and Pro Studio speakers all fed by a Denon AVR-H740H.The Rave 2 doesn't do that for me, don't get me wrong though a very respectable Bluetooth speaker for the money. I plan to continue listening to Rave 2 of course but I will always be wanting a little more out of it and as we all know , that's when it doesn't sound so good............... ........
