I really didn’t want to drill into my PRS like you do with traditional locking straps and ended up finding this! It’s fairly sturdy and doesn’t rub against the body on guitar. I just wish the strap could go longer as I play with my guitar lower down, but it’s not a major problem.

I've bought two of these - a woven one for a 25 year-old Strat, and a leather one for a heavier mahogany-bodied Tele. I've waited a year to post a review since buying the last one as I thought I'd see how they stood up over a period of time.The Pros:Secure - despite some reviews to the contrary, it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere and the locking end-pieces feel pretty robust. How they'd hold up to non-stop touring I'm not too sure - but for Joe Average, they do the job.Safe - hasn't marked either of my guitars (and I'm fussy), but again others appear to have had issuesPrice - pretty good valueEase of use - simple to put on, but...The Cons:Ease of use - ...a lot more fiddly to take off! You have to depress a small lever whilst trying to turn a knurled wheel, and trust me - it can be a pain in the backside. I usually resort to taking the guitar off and resting it somewhere safe first. Even then, it's usually a two-handed job.Comfort - the woven strap is OK for the Strat, but I bought the leather number for the heavier Tele and it does start to cut in after while. Both really need a bit more padding and width, and I'd be happy to pay a couple of quid more for that extra comfort.Looks - generally OK, but the plastic adjustment buckle does look a tad crap.Overall - I'd generally recommend for standard Fender-shape users, but I can see it wouldn't work with everything so check it out first.

it has been through a fair amount of gigs and rehearsals now, traveled through countries, and still as good as new! Will definitely suggest it to others.

Just mind it needs to be a big button on the guitar, I had to exchange the one from my guitar to my bass cause it was too small it didn’t fit

I was looking for a secure and comfortable strap for my brand new Jem 70V SFG - one that I'd feel confident that I could swing the guitar (as is my wont) without danger of its coming free and bouncing along the floor - as has happened with conventional straps in the past.The locking straps that I have for my other guitars are no longer made, so I was looking for a new manufacturer and this Planet Waves strap seemed to tick all the boxes.I was a little concerned because the Jem strap knobs were bigger than those on most of my guitars. However, I had no problem fitting the strap locking system. I like the locking system used and feel 100% confident that if gravity does have its wicked way with the Jem, it won't be the strap's fault.It is as comfortable as any strap I've used - and a darn sight more comfortable than most. It has a lot of adjustment room and I feel that only an inordinately tall player doing his Jimmy Page 'hanging down by his feet' poses would consider that it wasn't long enough.I'm very happy with my purchase, so much so that I have ordered another for the guitar bought for my nephew's birthday.

Great looking strap, unfortunately it didn’t fit my Epiphone Les Paul (top strap button) due to the plastic locking section, so had to return.
