Product works well for rejuvenating my dual glass tops for the 125 gallon salt water fish tank. Getting them on is a bit of a bear, but they work great and look far better than the original black plastic hinges that came with the lids. Considering total replacement of the aquarium top would have cost almost 150$, the price for these hinges and replacement handles to open the tops came in at 1/3 the price for better quality. Recommend this item to all aquarists.Update 12/24One of the replacement hinges just came apart despite it only being opened twice a day. For the price it should last a lot longer!!

I haven't had these hinges long enough to speak for durability, but they are a total disappointment right out of the box. They are difficult to install, but worst of all, the hinge part is too stiff! I got the 24" hinge to use on the lid of a 30" long fish tank, and glass panels. So they're long and heavy enough where you'd think they'd weigh the hinge down enough to keep the lid open, but nope - the hinge is too stiff and the lid keeps snapping shut when I let go. So I can't leave it open if I want to do a water change or anything else - I have to either hold it open with one hand, or put something heavy on top to weigh it down so it stays open. The hinge I had there before, lasted me many years and was flexible enough to allow the lid to stay open, but alas, after many years of service, it split. This one is a really crappy replacement.

Worked very well on our golf cart. The previous hinge was damaged during Hurricane Ian and the golf cart store would only replace the entire window to the tune of $200. Very good value and fairly easy to slide in with use of a mallet and two people.

It works

This was a replacement hinge for a golf cart plexiglass split windscreen. It wasn’t the exact replacement in terms of overall width and exact length but is good enough. Important that u get the right channel thickness for the plexiglass u have. The fitting of the windscreen into the channels is very tight; I used a bit of silicone grease to push the windscreen through the channel. Previous channel was secured with some bolts and top hat nuts; reused these for extra security.

This product is almost impossible to get on my glass aquarium lid. Given the price and the end result you’re better off buying a new glass top. Chipped the glass trying to get this on and then the hinge ripped defeating the purpose of buying a new hinge.
