There are relatively few reviews of this product and since the main item of concern is that it loses its elasticity after a short period, I will try my best to update this review every few months. However, there are a couple outstanding qualities of this topper that stand out immediately: 1) Mine has no odor at all. My wife has the sense of smell of a bloodhound and she detects no outgassing. 2) I was expecting to have to let the topper expand from 2 to 7 days before using it. But, after checking on it just 3 hours after unrolling, it was obviously ready to go.So far, it sleeps cool and comfortable, but I will give it a few weeks before I give it a more definitive description on that score. I put this on top of an expensive mattress that has always been too firm. After 2 years, I figured that I was not going to get used to it and I was finished with turning from one aching hip to the other every hour. This is pretty expensive as toppers go but way cheaper than a new quality mattress. I am hopeful but I will keep you posted.

One of the four straps that are supposed to hold this topper in place broke on first use. I asked their customer service for a replacement buckle (cheap 50 cent piece of plastic) but they wanted me to document it with photos and upload them. After sleeping on this once, I decided it wasn't worth it with how uncomfortable and cheaply made it was. I was unable to use the original box to make the return because I do not own an industrial shrink wrapper. UPS charged me an arm and a leg to box it with Amazon's QR code. Giant waste of money, shop elsewhere.

I put this topper on my bed 3 1/2 weeks ago. It was not easy for me doing it alone. But I got it done. I have slept poorly the past 5 months due to age, pain both knees, back pain, and recent shoulder injury. This was topped off by the sudden loss of a loved one. Then covid hit. More stress.I researched before purchase as I had to find the best on the first choice to get the best. This is the best! Each nite , I have slept more each night, with less and less pain. Last nite, I woke up only once, AND... I just took a 3 hr nap. The topper is as cool as described. I have not awakened sweaty or even damp since the first night. ..In years !. It is not squishy like my prior old topper. I can kneel on it easily to get further to center, and I am not lightweight. My pain has reduced while sleeping to less than 10% this week. Going down less each night.. My body thanks you. My mind thanks you. Yes it was expensive, but if you cannot sleep from stress, pain, limited movement. Worth it. I rarely write a review, but I want others to feel better also.

We purchased a brand new box sping and mattress. It is a name brand and cost several hundred dollars for a king size. But it was not a premium set. Top of the line matresses are way too expensive for me. This changed our new mattress from just sort of acceptable to really comfortable. I would highly recommend this product. .

We loved our mattress topper. Really uncertain and double minded before the purchase as there is no opportunity to test this out. Had to go to online reviews and video reviews. Had no idea how cold is cool, something that worried my spouse, she gets very cold, I become very hot. This topper was to compensate for a very expensive mattress that we had bought that was too firm and was giving back aches to the both of us, making us feeling very inflexible and tight throughout the day. The Viscosoft 4" Active Cooling Memory Foam mattress topper has been better than expected. We sink in and it is more than supportive for all our sleeping positions, back, side and front. Cooling is just right for the both of us. The topper was easy to setup, we guessed and did it correctly, although afterwards I saw the card instructing us to go to the online video. But the video proved we had it right. Not the cheapest of mattress toppers available, but definitely has fixed all our issues without having to fork another few thousands on a new mattress.

Mine arrived damaged. It helped to dissipate body heat but not completely. I also found the mattress to be a little on the firm side. While the seller has a great return policy, as with most mattresses like this, returns are a chore. Once removed from its packaging, the mattress inflates to 3x its size. I had to pay UPS $28 to repackage it before they would accept the return.

Outstanding quality on the cover. I unrolled the topper and it expanded quickly. The cover was folded up inside. When I touched the cover it was cool even though I just brought in the box and it was sitting in the sun on my porch. I bought to use as a bed for 75 pound dog. He loves it. He stays asleep longer because he isn't overheating. He is having surgery and I wanted him to rest comfortably. Normally he gets up 3 to 5 times because his bed is too hot. I got the twin and put it on the floor. It is supportive enough for my dog to use alone. His weight is distributed.

If you want a firm topper this is for you. It does not give the cooling sensation which is what I was after. So it didn’t meet my standards but by all other means it was comfortable, slightly too firm for me. But my biggest disappointment was that it was not cooling at all.
