damaged exterior
the back case had a huge crack and bent upwards, the mouse pad keyboard isnt that great, display was nice, i noticed a burning spell and overheating on the leftside. not a clean factory reset was done as i saw some files from previous owner. but specs and performance is good.

Good performance, but very high temperature
I am returning it. I don't know if this only this specific laptop or the model, but only turning it on the temperature goes up to 80°C and the fan is a full speed. Running office + browser the temp goes up to 90°C average. I used HWMonitor. I test the temp using StarCraft 2 game with max graphics Performance and the game runs really good, no lag, constant 60 fps. But the bottom and keyboard were really hot, i can even place the laptop I'm my legs and HWMonitor temp went up to 101°C and the fan sounds like an helicopter!!I don't believe is normal or something is wrong, but the performance was always great.

Old flagship specs
This is Windows 11-compatible, has tons of RAM, and has a very peppy processor. This is a sturdy workstation computer that has specs much better and higher than anything you are going to get from a company that you have never heard of before.

Won't charge
I ordered a refurbished one and the battery doesn't charge. It's stuck at 56%. I tried updating everything including the drivers and shutting it off and back on. I even bought a new charger for it thinking that was possibly the issue. But nope. I was sent a laptop that won't charge due to possibily a broken battery

Runs hot & smells terrible of cigarettes but is good for normal office use.
Overall, for a kid to learn web development on, it will serve it's purpose. It also DID have a webcam even though the description says it doesn't. It does run very hot just doing normal tasks. No gaming at all. It also stinks terrible of cigarettes after 20min or so of being on. For sure came from a smoking environment. I think Amazon should require noting that for electronics. May not bother some people, but drives me NUTS.
