Excellent purchase easy to assemble and that the option of not drilling into your walls. Everything is in the box for quick set up. Very happy with this product. Will buy again if I have too.

Enough to do your whole house for a decent price

Seems to be ok. Haven't had a fire so going they work. HaPros: same thing as every other smoke detector.They do have the magnetic disc mount with 2 sided tape. so you can put them about anyplace you want.Cons: They're smaller than standard size detectors so won't just slip onto, cover up or screw into an existing mount.Just like every smoke detector once they go off, you have to hold the button for 8hrs 52 minutes and 12 seconds to make it stop screeching.Please just make it so we can push the silence button and be done!

Smoke alarms are, presumably fine, but immediately upon installation, I have the sqwuaking of low battery chirps THROUGHOUT the house. Very annoying, requiring a ladder and the purchase of a dozen non-dead batteries to remedy.UPDATE: I contacted seller who responded SAME DAY, with a solution that more than resolved my concerns. Very good customer service. Thank you.. Unfortunately, I am unable to change the number of stars.

We purchased this for a rental unit. The local fire marshall will not approve them, since they are not UL listed. It is illegal to use them here. Check with your local building inspector or fire marshall before buying these. We didn't find the problem until the building was being inspected, and now we are beyond the return window.Update: the seller contacted me, offerring a full refund and apologizing for the inconvenience. I appreciate the customer service outreach, and will update this review when the refund is issued. It is good to know that they are willing to stand behind their product.
