Fender 4-Position Custom Shop Telecaster® Pickup Selector Switch

While not an essential purchase, if you want to get another sound from your telecaster cheap and easy, then this might be your thing! Allows you to put both pickups in series (while still retaining the other positions); giving a more aggressive tone than both of them in parallel. I quite like having the option personally, as I use it for certain rock riffs and solos quit effectively. It does require a bit of soldering, so read that handy wiring diagram it comes with!

used this switch on a cheap squire affinity telecaster. a few modifications to the control plate are needed to make it fit, the switch screw mount holes on the control plate need to be drilled out a bit bigger and the slot in the control plate needs to be a bit longer to allow for the extra travel for the fourth position on the switch.
