Outstanding fireplace suite. I am amazed at the speed of delivery just two days from placing my order, the delivery guy was very professional and friendly. He asked where I wanted the fireplace to go and he showed great care in his handling of both packages, which had no damage. My thanks to the delivery man.The fireplace is partly self assembly, as the mantel shelve, two side panels and the hearth are already assembled, they just needed to be attached to other panels. I found it very easy assemble, the fitting are supplied and are excellent quality. This fireplace is extremely well made all holes matched up perfectly. The instructions are clear. I found no damage at all including any chips, just so perfect.The actual fire is fantastic the coals look so real and the flame is the best that I have seen. The chrome is just lovely. The remote control is very easy to use it can turn on or off, change the flame setting with a total of four to choose from and adjust the temperature , set to timer to come on and a lot more. the hand control is neat and stylish and lights up on the window display. And the remote has a range from 4 metres (13 feet).I just love the back ground LED lights, there are 12 different lights which are stunning, the lights are also controlled by remote. I am so pleasedand happy, roll on the winter ! My sincere thanks to the seller and I would buy again and I strongly recommend this Cayton fireplace to anyone

My fire and surround arrived earlier than expected. It was very well packaged with no damage whatsoever. Fire looks really good in my lounge as a focal point. Love the mood lighting. Easy to assemble.

I was searching for an electric fireplace for some time, until I found this one. Looked very stylish, elegant and would add a homely note in my living room. I have to say, it looks so so much better in real! Very stylish and elegant, looks more expensive than it actually is and has become the focal point in my living room. The delivery was very quick (arrived 2 days after purchase) and the price was unbeatable. You can have it as freestanding and plug in the fire, or you can hardwire it- it depends on what you wish to do. Has different LED colours to choose from and the fan is not too noisy. Produces a lot of heat and switches off once it reaches the desired temperature. Only downside is that electricity is so expensive nowadays, so the fire is not very cosy effective. But I wouldn't personally give this too much consideration, as you can just keep the flames on and enjoy your fireplace :) I have already recommended this fireplace to my friends and is super important to support British companies, so thank you very much! :)

Absolutely beautiful fire & surround, easy to build too.

I liked how quick and well pack this arrived, item is mdf as expected and fixes together with screws and dowelling but do not tighten the screws as this resulted in split panels which are being replaced. I only loosely tightened and was still too much plus some of the holes for the screws were not correctly in line. Once together the fireplace is very white and not an off white or ivory as expected but still very nice. I’m not sure how long the surround will last but the fireplace is very good and I love the led light effects and many settings plus the three fire settings showing different states of roaring fire. All in all seller has been ok in replacing missing and faulty parts and item looks lovely in my lounge and for the price was the nicest I could find but I can see why people save for better surrounds which I think I will do.

Lovely fireplace, great heater and the coal and flame effect makes the room feel really cozy. Excellent purchase, great value for money.

After the very prompt delivery, the two boxes were dispatched to the kitchen as I was in the midst of decorating the lounge. As the renovation neared completion I eagerly unpacked the mantel/surround and completed the easy assembly in short order. I then extracted the fire unit with remote control packet from the box and transferred both items to the lounge. Final assembly completed I fired up (pardon the pun) my new purchase and stood back in awe to admire the brilliant finish and life like flame effect! Hang on.... Where's the mood lighting? After hours of futile fumbling with the remote control... I was in a 'Mood,' but the lighting wasn't! Deciding to book myself into the local insane asylum at the earliest opportunity to have my mental health faculty's checked out, I retired to bed. Next morning whilst traversing the obstacle course of the kitchen for my morning coffee, I noticed a second plastic bag containing another remote control and instruction booklet barely perceivable, peeping out from the back of the original box the fire arrived in! (must have fallen out as I juggled to extricate the fire). Coffee forgotten, I quickly loaded this new found remote with the batteries provided and attacked the fire once again! Within minutes all was working fine and my sanity was restored to a much more acceptable level! Moral of the story? Check, Check, Check everything in the boxes and watch for wayward escapee parts. BTW, the fire and surround are absolutely beautiful, it sends out a lovely room filling, calm ambiance. Buy it, you will love it and, for the price, it's a steal! The media could not be loaded. Absolutely delighted with this fire and surround. It was really easy to put together. I am a 66 Yr old female with osteoarthritis and it only took me 3 hours all together that's with a couple of coffee breaks lol 😆 love the mood lighting I can change colour according to how I feel. The flame effect is really cozy looking and silent not like my old fire that made a grating sound. Overall well worth the money definitely recommend to anyone who likes the look of this fire.
