Nice upgrade from original at a great price
All metal RV faucet. We are very happy with this faucet. It was easy to install and doesn't stick out as far as most faucets. The knobs turn nicely. They have the right amount of tension that they won't accidentally turn on. The water pressure is perfect. Nice upgrade from the original faucet. I would highly recommend this product.

Terrific replacement
On our last camping excursion, our shower faucet broke which was almost a disaster. Thankfully it broke on the last day. I ordered this all metal faucet that day, and it arrived the day after we got home. I immediately installed it. It fits perfectly. No modifications were necessary as it is a standard 4 inch RV faucet.First of all, it really is all metal. Not the flimsy cheap garbage that most RV's have from the factory. It is solid and well built. It comes with all of the hardware needed to install it. In a matter of less than an hour, it was installed, sealed and tested. It works flawlessly and will outlast the RV. This is well worth the money and I find it to be a great value. It gets 5 stars from me.

Sayonara plastic junk!
I live in a permanently parked RV so this may not apply to you exactly.I personally resent plastic plumbing fittings. Pipes I can deal with and they actually benefit from being plastic. Everything else though, no thanks. That creaky plastic lavatory faucet was the first to go. Then the kitchen sprayer. After that the washer/dryer valves. I struggled for a couple of years looking for a suitable replacement for that craptastic shower faucet that came in my Keystone Cougar Fifth-wheel. I was pretty surprised when it arrived. It came in a box not much bigger than a house brick. It was certainly heavy as one. Out came a chrome piece that could probably be used to knock someone out.Pros:All metal. No cheap plastic here it’s a brass valve unit covered in the finish of your choice. Mine is chrome.Sturdy construction. Unlike its predecessor, the valves are sturdy and turn with snug tolerances. This made me feel a lot better during use. Doesn’t feel like I could break them off with a small twist like the original one.Standard fittings. This faucet uses the same half inch threaded pipe as the original and as a bonus was even the same length.Accessories. The box includes instructions, spare o rings, screw covers and screws for the valves.I’ve noticed a substantial increase in overall water pressure in the shower. This can either be a pro (in my case) or a con. For me this was one of the selling points for me on this valve. I wanted something that would send full volume/pressure to the head and allow it to be the restriction. The old valve had a small 1/8 inch thread that the shower head connection threaded onto. Those that boondock or are water conscious may want to get accustomed to the valve to get the same pressure as before install. Another issue (one I foresaw) is the stupid 6 gallon water heater doesn’t keep up with the water usage (I’m installing a second much larger unit to augment the current one. Permanently parked so…)Cons:Not many at all none that bother me but some it may.Knob size. The knobs are about the diameter of a US quarter. This may make it a bit hard to adjust. Thankfully however there are three vanes on each one to assist grip.Silkscreen logo and hot/cold indicator. Again doesn’t bother me. I can foresee these maybe coming off over time. The plate can be flipped if need be but I don’t notice it showering.Increased water volume. Not a con for me but those looking to save water will have to get used to different adjustments until ideal settings are found. All in all, I love this faucet. It’s heavy duty, awesome looking and delivers that water pressure/volume that I have missed dearly since I moved out of the old place. Hopefully it holds up. Once I’ve got the new water heater in, it will feel just like home again.

Sturdy and attractive
Unlike the plastic valve that came with the coach (you would think Monaco would use something a step up but sadly did not) this shower faucet is the real deal. All brass and stainless, no more squeaky, sticking turning of the knobs. No more driping hose, no more mold under the plastic knob coverplate. This lined right up with the old ivory plastic valve and was a snap to install. No leaks no worries. I love the clean contemporary look and the solid feel and operation. I should have changed to this years ago.

MUCH more sturdy than factory faucet and looks better too.
No dislikes. Install was easy. The product has some heft to it, all parts (externally visible) are metal which is why I purchased this faucet. I am a travel nurse I live in my camper while out on contract, the shower is used daily and I have a compact/portable clothes washing machine I need to use multiple times weekly. The most convenient way for me to connect my clothes washer is to the shower faucet as none of the sinks have threaded or modifiable spouts. My alternative was connecting to the outside spray port but I couldn't access hot water with that and I had to run a hose into the camper meaning I cant fully close my doors preventing me from heating or air conditioning inside when doing my laundry. So the solution was to adapt my shower faucet with a few pipe connectors to regular garden hose quick connect devices so I can swap from shower head to washer hose in a snap without having the re-screw each time and avoiding having to re-adjust for spray leaks. The only problem with my arrangement is that the required pipe junction adapter and the quick-connects are brass and have some weight to them. The original camper faucet was all plastic and I anticipated it wouldn't take much for the top mounted plastic spout stem to snap off. Before it could ever become an issue I decided to swap over to this faucet. I was able to do the job in about 10 minutes, including the time I spent searching the white shower pan for the white painted screws I had dropped. The faucet included all needed gaskets and washers plus some other washers that came in handy for the shower hose. It also included a roll of Teflon thread tape, I was able to get a nice clean seal between the faucet and my quick connect easily. The only things you will need are a screw driver and a tube of silicon sealant. In addition the the improved durability of an all metal bod it seems like downward facing outlet offers better damage prevention as well...at least for my needs. I am happy with how this worked out for me and think it was a good value as far as costs are concerned as well. Would recommend.
