Does work after firmware update
Initially disappointed as it wouldn't focus with my Canon EF 75-300mm lens. I then downloaded the lastest firmware version and after updating, it does now focus my lens - very happy now!!

I like it. Arrived quickly
I like it.Arrived quickly, well packaged by Amazon and within the product box.I'm using on a6000, so cannot comment on PDAF settings. I tried it with an EF50, EFS1855, EF28200 & EF70300USM IS.It didn't work with the EFS at all. It worked okay, ish, with the EF50, but that was only a brief try as I have a native 50.It worked okay with the EF28200, better towards the 28 end.I've mostly used it with the EF70300 as this is what I bought the adapter for and this is lens that is usually on my Canon 40D.It works well. The focus can hunt a bit, but that happens a lot on the 40D as well. The lens image stabilisation comes on with the shutter half press. It doesn't stay running for a long period, probably 5 seconds or so.Despite these flaws, it actually focuses faster than the 40D. Combine this with the newer and better tech in the a6000 and the resulting shots are very sharp. It is like having some new, and very expensive, lens.I'm very conscious of the mount point weaknesses of the a6000. The Viltrox mount seems solid enough, no loosening so far. I tend to carry aroun and support the weight by the lens itself.

Not terrible but not amazing either!
I decided to hunt for a lens adapter when my Sony kit lens broke from a fall. I owned and used a Canon for a long time before switching to Sony and I still have all my lenses. Instead of purchasing a new Sony lens straight away I decided to try something to help me use my old lenses. It does what it says, I can use *most* of my Canon lenses with this, but not all of them, which is a little disappointing (but I can't expect it to work with every single one of them). It works really well with my 50mm lens and it semi works with my 35 - 80mm lens, but not without it's hiccups. It's auto focus is extremely slow at times and at others non-existent, to the point where I've to turn off my camera, take out the battery and put it back in again for the auto-focus to work again. On my 35-80mm the auto-focus refuses to work at all but I don't mind manually focusing, if I'm not trying to photograph a moving subject. On my 50mm lens the focus can sometimes find it hard to find the right point of focus, so it can be a little fiddly at times.Over all, it's not terrible, specially for the price of it. I'm still playing around and figuring out the best settings for it and think I will be for awhile.I think if you are planning to purchase this, make sure it works with all your lenses and be prepared to get annoyed from time to time with it!

Great for us on a budget!
I had a bunch of EF-S lens which did not focus using another adaptor, but the Viktrox one had no problems with them.

Get the Metabones or Sigma
It works, but don't expect to start doing sports photography. It hunts for at least 3-5 seconds for focus, even if it's already in focus. And if you don't select the correct setting (PDAF/CDAF) then the camera thinks there's a completely different lens attached. Tried with Sigma 18-35mm f1.8, Sigma 35mm f1.4 and the Canon 50mm f1.8 on a Sony a6300, with firmware for everything up to date.

Not for Canon lens
Used on Sony a6000, worked with a canon wide angle lens but on 2 zoom lenses the autofocus would not work at all so returned for refund
