Graat addition to the kitchen.
Love our Tower air-fryer. Great for a range of dishes, especially oven chips and roasted potatoes, carrots etc. Use only high-smoke point oils applied with a sprayer. That way you'll keep the inside clean. Drawers and outside very easy to clean. Easy to set time and temperatures. Economical and quick.

14.5 litre air fryer oven small and mighty
This is an excellent air fryer. We have used it endlessly and have been able to cook a wide variety of foods in it. We have even cooked thin chips to perfection in just 8 minutes and toast 4 pieces of toast in 7 minutes. It has upper and lower cooking elements, which aids in the cooking and crisping time and has not disappointed and is part of Towers Vortex brand. They also supply a 3 year guarantee, which saves the extra cost of buying extended insurance. I have had a few Tower products over the last 40 years and they have all been good. The couple of gripes that I do have, it was supplied with 3 flat air fryer trays, which are good quality, but food has fallen off the back of the tray when removing it from the oven, close to the bottom elements, because they dont have a rim.I bought different trays from another company which fit this unit. The unit comes with a heat diffuser, which you choose to put on or leave off depending on the space you have, which is 10cm long. Which is situated at the back of the unit. It is difficult to clean inside as the surface feels a little grainy. It would have preferable if the light that stays on throughout cooking, which is handy, would stay on when taking things out, instead of turning off. Overall I love the unit and expect to get years of use from it.The internal sizes are 20cm high x 26 wide.

Convience and Quality
I have been using my air fryer now for a few months. The timed finish facility is really nice and the size is good for a family. The smaller drawer doesn't heat quite as much as the bigger drawer but the preset timings take this into account and you can learn to adjust timings quite easily. The drawers and rack are nicely non-stick. I think that when I buy my next air fryer I might go for one that is dishwasher compatible, but that said they are generally more expensive. The drawers are quite easy to clean though. The non-stick rack in the basket allows for fats to drain away from meat, which is great from a health perspective, whilst the meat remains juicy and moist. A good buy for the budget.

The best air fryer I've brought
Even those I'm waiting for the grill plates, and the service of the manufacturer and amazon was excellent to sort the issues within a one phone call, I used the air fryer as to the customer service advise, and gosh it did what it said. The price is excellent, the product looks like it worth the money, the functions are easy to use and honestly you don't need a manual to make this work, it's easier, I made nan pizza , made chips and even made an egg toast and it tasted simply great, this is a great buy, people don't need to spend double the money to get everything, 100% recommended and if you need more details happy to share with you.

Great cooking aid
The media could not be loaded. I am extremely pleased with this Tower Airfryer oven . It's great having the two separate compartments to use separately or together . I have cooked great roast potatoes. Fish and chips are perfect and can fit in one compartment. Baked cakes and scones. Homemade meat pies . Crumbles. Chicken pieces and fantastic duck legs, crispy skin and succulent meat.Very easy to use and set up. Easy to clean. Looking forward to trying more dishes . It is slightly noisy, but other than that , it's great.. Ideal having the seperate shelves and baskets.Great success!!!!!

Convenient but not worth the hype
My previous experience of air fryers was not pleasant, as a support worker for a disabled man, who insisted on everything being cooked in the air fryer. I found it neither quicker, easier and disgusting to use as none of his other support workers cleaned it out after use, resulting in me wasting more time cleaning it before and after use. For this reason I have avoided air fryers and put them down to being the latest fad but then I noticed that a few of my friends had them and as an "empty nester" I felt that putting the oven on just for me was both costly and wasteful. So I spent hours in stores and online trying to work out which one would be best for me. I thought I'd go small and cheap so that if I didn't use it I could pass it on to my daughter, and I didn't want to clutter up my kitchen with a useless gadget. I decided on this model because it was half price and Tower seemed to have the widest range of options. I also liked the idea of two different sized drawers, as I use the smaller one for things like bacon or warming pies and the larger one for cooking previously frozen cottage pies or lasagnes or for when I'm cooking for the family. Like everybody else, first uses are a bit hit and miss and needs practice. My first use was on sausages which were leathery and the mash went cold waiting for them to cook. It is definitely quicker than using the oven but I can't say it's saved me any money in terms of electricity. I've purchased silicone liners which are a big bonus as they are quick to rinse and I've only washed the actual drawers once or twice and they too are easy to rinse and wipe. I've also downloaded and oven - air fryer cooking convertor which as averted the timing disasters. What cooks well? Steak is really juicy, chips are crispy as are pastry products. I haven't plucked up the courage to try baking a cake yet, as I don't want to waste time and ingredients on getting it wrong. I think air fryer is a misnomer as it is an oven or grill. It's better than the microwave becasue you can use metal containers but I wouldn't part with the microwave or my oven hob, although the rest of the oven is now pretty much redundant. I've been using it 3-4 times a week for two months now and yes I have found it quick, easy and convenient, especially after coming in from work. I hope this is a useful review, if, like me, you're dithering whether to join the masses and buy one.
