The Ancel MT500 pro and kit are made in PRC (china). The Ancel MT500Pro is a good code reader, and depending on your year/make/model, you can get some good diagnostics. The MT500 pro did good reading an 09 Harley, a 12 Honda, and a 16 Polaris ATV. I found this really helps on the fuel injected toys, and for that I recommend it. The unit is not cheap, does not do a lot, only has one year of updates included, then it costs $80 per year for updates. I have not seen any updates that added bikes or functions, but some updates did add newer year models. If you work on your own stuff, you will be able to appreciate the MT500 pro.4 stars

Unit won’t connect to my Harley’s.. it keeps freezing up and does not offer any extra Harley services like abs or anything!!! And Amazon and the ancel company won’t either probably something simple but no one wants to help

We luckily have not had any issues with our motorcycle recently so have not had a true test for it’s code reading ability. We are glad to know we have this tool when we do as it will be a money saver to be able to self-diagnose. The reader comes securely packaged with thick foam as well as plastic covering. The tablet has a nice large 5” touch screen that has good sensitivity. The device charges with an included usb cable, and a dc Power adapter for an alternator power source. Once you turn the machine on you go thru a quick and easy registration process. The tablets menu paths are easy to follow.

I’ve used this in my shop for several motorcycle and SXS brands. It works flawlessly every time. It’s an invaluable tool for any motorcycle mechanic.

I am thoroughly impressed with this device. One of the standout features of this product is the variety of adapter cables it comes with for most manufactured vehicles. This was great for me because I got this to work with both of my motorcycles.The touch screen on this device is high quality and very responsive. The product has a nice and easy to understand layout, making it new user-friendly. This makes navigating the different functions and features much easier, even for someone who hasn’t worked with code readers before liking myself. The touch screen is also large enough that I can see the information clearly, even when I'm wearing gloves.One of the best things about this product is how it will save me money. I no longer must take my motorcycles to the dealership to run diagnostics. With the ANCEL MT500 PRO, I can run these checks myself and save money in the process. While I haven’t gotten much use out of this yet, I know I’ll be glad I have this on hand when the time comes and I need it to run diagnostics. I would recommend this product to anyone who owns motorcycles or ATVs and wants to save some money on dealership diagnostics.
