I read the description and watched the videos and decided to try them. I think the idea is adorable and the clips do hold pretty well. For myself, I find it awkward to use the extra internal clips myself since both hands are required. A good 2-way mirror would be good to have. One suggestion would be to offer some of these plain without the extra sparkly decorations.

I love these hair clips. I've been letting my hair grow from short to shoulder length. With the back pieces not being long enough to pull into a pony tail yet, these clips make doing an updo super easy. My hair is super fine and soft. The shorter pieces of my hair stay in place all day twisted up and secured in the small top clips and my updo looks like I've been to a salon! The colors are adorable and versatile for everyday or special occasion. I am so glad I found these!

One of the hair clips was broken when it arrived. I had to glue this back together so my wife could use the hair clip. So disappointing.

I have a lot of experience with hair gadgets as have 3 adult daughters and their daughters. Bought this for my 72 year old self. Granted I have not stick straight Asian hair, as portrayed in the video, rather, thick, beautiful, long, wavy hair. These do work in my hair but only because I'm experienced. Be mindful they do tangle so put it on and take it off slowly. It is very hard to put them in evenly (one on each side), and in back for an updo. I got better at it with practice.

I got these clips for my daughters. They work well in my older daughter's hair, but not so well in my younger curly haired daughter's hair. My older daughter likes these clips because they are great quality, look great in her hair, and they are affordable. A minor kink about these hair clips are there not for every hair type so if you have very curly hair, I wouldn't recommend. They also can be difficult to remove without help. Overall I think it is a good product and I would purchase them again.

I wish there were step by step videos for this clip. I have thick curly hair and I was hoping to be able to do some neat styles with this clip. However it's was like a torture device. The clip toppers got caught in my hair every time I tried to use it. And while I think a gem free clip to might help with that, the main clip isn't strong enough to hold a thick enough clump if my hair to keep the clip in place snug enough.If you ever make a second version of your clip, that you believe addresses the issues I've had, please consider me for a test user. I will give an honest review.

They are hard to use in thinner hair. Lots of space in them. They're also quite large. But they look beautiful and are tons of fun to play with in different hair styles.
