I had to move some heavy bulky units around when laying new hardwood flooring. They did the job perfectly. They took the weight perfectly and the wheels coped with smallish lips without too much effort. Very strong and handled the task with ease. A relatively expensive outlay but having reviewed others thoughts on numerous other sets, I opted for these. Buy cheap, buy twice. These will last as long as I will, if not longer!

Wish I had this years ago, so easy to use

Having read previous reviews, about not being the best on carpet, I took that into consideration. Having a new floor laid so needed to move a washing machine, freezer, tumble drier and a display cabinet. Surface I am moving across a mixture of hard wood floors and a ceramic tile floor. Success rate 0. Once you get the appliance onto the castors because the top of the castors is plastic there is no friction. If you can move something a foot before the castors slide off you are lucky. So you spend as much time repositioning the castors, then you do moving something. You get marginally better results if you just use 2 castors and lean what you are moving into yourself effectively using the 2 castors as a cart. If you have any strips over doorways (the sort where it's just a flat little strip to hide the join between 2 different floors forget it. You are 100pct guaranteed for the castors to come off and a more awkward place to try and reattach them you will not find. I think the problem is because of the plastic tops. Had they fitted rubber tops or similar then there might have been a chance of them working. As I did not manage to move a single item without the air being blue, I can only give this 1star. If I could I would have given zero. Complete waste of money. If you are looking for something similar buy something with rubber tops rather than plastic ones.

Just what you need to move heavy objects across floors, even has a scoot bar.Used them to move a kitchen out.First, put down plywood sheeting, then lift one side of the object with bar or crow bar and carefully put dolly under each corner.Slowly move the object, best with two people, keep an eye on the dollies, but they spin easily on the castors.Job done.

Purchased specifically to move a washing machine into and out of a confined utility area during decorating. Works perfectly and very easy to use. Even handled the transition from vinyl onto new carpet with no problems. Extremely pleased and I’m sure it will be used again.Not the cheapest one, but worth every penny.

Brought these to help move furniture when having carpet renewed, when trying to move them on carpet didn’t do the job they just sunk, maybe ok for hard flat floors.

We have recently been decorating our bedroom.and the bed is a king sized ottoman bed so it was heavy to lift as we are both pensioners.but with this it was very easy to move

Purchased to move a fridge freezer and a washing machine while a new kitchen floor was being laid.Performs absolutely appallingly on low pile carpet and very badly on smooth hard floors. In my experience it is useless on all surfaces.
