Forplaywomens In My Hood Sexy Storybook Character Costume

After looking for a Halloween costume that threaded the line of cottage-core and sexy, I came across this. After receiving item, I found the proportions to be slightly off. The dress has a lower cut on me than the model. The dress is classed at the top with the halter neck being similar to a bra clasp. When I hooked it on to the claps that I felt best fit me, the neckline was far lower than desired. I unhooked the clasp and simply tied the two ends together to a tighter fit and I felt it fit me better. The knot wasn't super secure however, leading me to drunkenly adjust it throughout the night. The dress being tied up higher made everything else rise too, meaning cold chairs weren't my friend. (For reference I ordered the XS/S size. I am a 24 in waist, 36 hip, 30 bust. 5'3 95 lbs and I wore this with a bra)The hood was a little large and I feel like I have kind of a big head, but I would notice it start to fall into my line of vision. (I had a buzzcut during this time, if you have a lot of hair this may be different for you). I didn't like the leg warmer situation so I have nothing to say about those. The gloves while I didn't think were cute and didn't wear them with the rest of the outfit, I find them very helpful for opening up pasta sauce jars so I keep them now in my spatula drawer. Overall, I got many compliments and it has helped with my cooking endeavors.

My first shipment was missing some parts of the outfit. Once I contacted the seller a new outfit arrived within 2 days. The complete set is as cute as the photos

i personally loved this costume . the knee part of the costume kept slipping down but other than that it was a 5 star to me
