Good, budget hybrid bike
Bought this for commuting to the station and occasional shopping into the the town centre without having to drive. It came about 80% assembled and took me about 45 minutes to fully set up (could have been less if it hadn't taken me an embarrassingly long time to work out how to install the front wheel quick release spindle thing!)Then pumped up the tyres and it was good to go. The gears and brakes comes pre-adjusted and works well without any fine tuning. The only thing I did was to swap out the uncomfortable seat for the more padded one I had. I've ridden round my neighbourhood and it was a smooth and comfortable ride.It doesn't feel or look cheapI especially love the fact that it came with pannier (and straps) and mudguards. I couldn't find anything for under £200 with those accessories. So all in all I'm happy with my purchase.

Where to start? Missing parts, poor build guide and awefull welding
Delivered late for a start. The safety nuts for the front wheel aren't included. You also need your own tools to build it as the ones provided don't match the nuts and bolts. The build guide makes little sense in the English version provided. The pictures do not represent the bike, at all.The welding on the frame is very poor quality.Dont waste your money, save up an month or two more and buy a reputable brand.I've already taken this bike to the recycling centre, hopefully they will find something worth while from it. Awefull value.

Very good for the price
The manual was generic and not specific to the model. Took me one hour to figure out how to assemble the bike on my own. Once assembled, it is a nice bike with all the features you would expect.

I would not even let a politician ride this bike
I would never let anyone I loved ride this bike. The front brake does not work.Fortunately, I bought the bike for myself, so it is not the end of the world. But it is annoying.I bought a new bike.I want all the "bells and whistles" to work: even the non essentials, the fancy frivolous features like brakes. The packaging was inadequate. The staples on the bottom of the box were not properly inserted. The package opened in transit.Fortunately, ArrowXL are a very conscientious delivery company so no parts were lost. The manual is frustrating.2 pointless pages on bike and road safety.Clear detailed information on how to get the front brake to work, would have been more useful from a safety perspective.Customer support is non existent. The technical helpline was a complete waste of time. The lady I spoke to was very pleasant, but would not answer any questions.Instead, she sent me an email demanding proof of purchase and pictures of the problem. In this day and age, why not upload a video of a technician assembling the bike either to the company's website or youtube. To Summarise:I like the bike and, as long as you are not too hung up about having a working brake system, it is worth considering. But I suspect, if you search long enough you might be able to find a bike with working brakes and a company that has a more enlightened approach to customer care.

Not as described
When I attempted to attach the front wheel to the forks the spindle would not fit, as the spindle was not wide enough. The manual described how to fit the locking washers to the spindle but the locking washers were not provided, and even if they were, there was not enough room on the spindle thread for them to fit. Also, one of the locking nuts was seized solid and was impossible to unscrew. I can only suggest that the manufacturers provided the wrong sized wheel!
