I have enjoyed the original Dune books since the 1970s and I am enjoying the books by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson now. I have seen every movie and mini-series and enjoyed them all for their own merits and their ability to present the books. I am very happy to see them develop some merchandise that I would like to own. One of these items is the ring that is passed on through the Atreides heirs, and is now available from four sellers on Amazon. I bought all four, and now I am comparing them.Two are from sellers in China called StarForged and Generic. StarForged has some expensive options with precious metals like gold in them, but they also had one made of copper for $67. StarForged is the most expensive but it has the finest detail of all, and it comes in a beautiful box with a polishing cloth. Generic is also from China and it is the least expensive at $15.99. The third is from a seller here in the United States called Kobataro for a copper ring at $23.99. The fourth ring is the one that is different. It is from CostumeBase who offers different sizes from size 9 to 12 for $39.90 and it is Stainless Steel instead of a Copper Alloy unlike other three.If you look at the pictures that compare CostumeBase to their cheapest competitor, Generic. CostumeBase's ring is bigger and sturdier. CostumeBase's ring has better paint job. Finally, I contacted CostumeBase and their customer service was great. I vote them to be the winner of my four ring comparison.In my opinion. The 2 rings from StarForged and Kobatro are both similar. I see no reason to pay more for the same ring. However, the StarForged ring has better fine detail, a polishing cloth, and a nice box. This seller has a nice red box too. There was a difference in the time it took to get to me. The longest was StarForged that took a month to get to me, and Generic took three weeks to come from China. The other two are in the US and came much quicker. The ring that is different is from CostumeBase. They offer different sizes when the other three all have the same size. Don't be fooled by StarForged claiming to have a ring for size 20. I took pictures that show it is the same size as Kobataro's ring.

This thing is awesome both to wear and to display. I keep it on top of my Dune books series.

This ring looks like it could have been used on the set of the movie! Very nice weight, feels very sturdy. Paint looks great and while I could wear it, I've read enough reviews that mention the possibility of the paint wearing off, so this will just be a display piece. Overall I am VERY happy with this ring and would recommend it to anyone! :)

Oh your guys are so close. The shape, the detail, it’s all working. And then you put this ridiculous high-sheen topcoat on it and ruin it. Please let me know when you put a matte siren on it and I’ll buy another one, with a 5-star review
