After researching umbrellas I purchased 2 Tumella umbrellas in December of 2024. I was impressed with their having been developed in a European climate requiring an umbrella that was highly wind resistant, watertight and opening and closing automatically and swiftly. This seemed to be a perfect match for the New England weather in which I have lived for 65 years. After a couple of months of light use one of the umbrellas started to have an issue with the closing mechanism. I contacted the customer support via email and received a reply from Arvie within 24 hours with a few questions and suggestions. After submitting a video and further explanation of the problem Arvie informed me that a replacement would be on its way within days. In less than a few days a new umbrella arrived .These umbrellas are at a very reasonable price point with a lifetime warranty and construction that is very impressive. Customer service is at a level that just doesn’t exist anymore, or so I thought. Thank you Arvie and your team at Tumella . Keep up the superb service !

First, I received my replacement. I sent them a picture of the broken stem and they asked for the order number. I bought it two years ago!! Replaced and no other questions asked other than did I receive and did I test the new one. I give them five stars for great customer service. Emailed them, got a response within two days, got my replacement within two weeks. Thank you very much for my replacement. Very nice folks to communicate with via email. They kept their word for lifetime replacement.Next, why did I even try to get a replacement? Well, I really like my umbrella. Durable, opens/closes easily, compact and sturdy. It holds very well against strong winds!Why then did it break and needed to be replaced? I accidentally stepped on one of the ends and broke the stem. Not because it did not hold well through heavy rain, strong winds, but was my mistake.Wish you well Tumella company!

This is an excellent umbrella, nice and compact when closed and large enough for two elementary-aged kids to share when open - as long as they like each other! It is a bit heavy, but I appreciate that's probably due to sturdy components. It also comes with a nice matching sleeve for storage, which helped keep it neat and in good condition when not in use. This was purchased in the fall for the school year, our kids walk about a mile to school every day. It's worked great up until now, but the last rainy day they had it wouldn't close properly when they got home. It was stuck halfway - the stick fully extended, but the canopy closed - and would neither fully open nor fully close. I contacted Tumella via their website / email and received a phone call from customer support the same day! After a brief conversation explaining the situation, a replacement was arranged and shipped to us. I was really impressed with their customer service, both the speed with which my concerns were addressed, and the personal touch of calling to address the problem.
