Robust good size
I like the enamel it won’t crack like glass or ceramic if dropped. Holds a good amount of butter. Recommended.

Perfect.
We had been after a butter dish like this for years but could never find a decent one at an affordable price. This is lovely and holds even a big bar of butter compared to most butter dishes. Yes the sides are sharp around the bottom part but its not anywhere near where you hold it anyway. Its just the way its made and I find it adds to its charm and the overall aesthetic. Its very Farmhouse chic and its just what we wanted

Retro look
Great quality and value for money. Size perfect for 250g block of butter. Bought as a gift and it’s used daily

not perfect but adds to its charm
Just what i wanted , however there was slight damage on the outside rim , but not enough to make me want to return it , not perfect but adds to its charm

Proper Vintage Piece
Purchased for my Son in Law who broke the last Butter Dish I gave him (after much use). They have a young Boy now so felt an indestructible one would be fine while boy learned to use and to spread. Its a decent size, some are a bit tight, and it looks just lovely and proper utilitarian enamelled piece of by-gone years- Wish I had bought two now!!.

It’s ok
It’s nothing special, like other reviews.. many imperfections ie paint marks & chips, nicksIt’s pretty big aswel, bigger than my previous butter dish which loved but smashed. It will hold a massive pack of butter but if u buy normal size butter packets from supermarket like me then they are gonna look small in this dish which I find then the fish to be bulky and wasteful space.. it’s a chunky butter dish.I Like that It’s made of metal with ceramic, but I’m guessing if dropped it will still look damaged as the ceramic will smash or shatter . I’m gonna obviously be careful with it. I’m gonna keep it however I’m not impressed with it and really wish I’d choose something morse stylish and smaller for the butter I buy

Great
Great. You wouldn't believe it but I've discovered that trying to get a practical butter dish, isn't as simple as you would expect!. This is my 4th. Both my previous glass and plastic ones have broken and the one ceramic one that didn't break was just not practical for my house. This one however is practically perfect. Its easy to use, fits a block of butter, easy to clean and so far hasn't been destroyed by the family. I brought a discounted one from Amazon Warehouse and it has a small chip on the handle at the top. Given how fast we go through butter dishes and how much the discount was (I brought mine for just under a fiver) I can definitely live with its imperfections.

Terrible quality and dangerously sharp
A friend asked me to buy this for her as part of her Christmas present. It looked good in the photos on the website, but when it arrived it was very poor quality, with lots of flaws in the finish, and the edges of it were dangerously sharp. Really, really sharp. I returned it for a refund, which was dealt with quickly and efficiently, but the product needs to be redesigned so that it is safe for sale and until that happens, Amazon should not be listing it. It's a pity, because it's a style that appeals to many people.
