Q: How thick are the MDF shelves?

Between 7 and 8mm. They seem to be strong enough to support a fairly heavy static weight, but not strong enough to be used as a workbench top. I did snap a corner off through carelessness when fitting the shelves into the shelf supports. Oh, and it did seem a good idea to varnish them before using them outside to protect against damp.

Q: Does this come with the bay connectors?

No - I bought these separately from Homebase for about £3. You do need them in my opinion. For the price very good units.

Q: What are the dimensions when boxed up for delivery? I need for courier. Thanks.

Q: Is the mdf treated? I.e waterproof?

No. The mdf shelves are not treated and are not waterproof.
