Midwest Hearth Fiberglass Chimney Rod Kit (18-Foot) Made in USA

My husband used this to clear out a gutter jammed with birds nests. This cant be accessed from the front (its an awning roof over a deck), so he took off the end cap to slide the rods thru the debris and break it up. The rods are lightweight and with little effort the gutter is now clear and flowing again.

This has worked very well in cleaning the chimney and with the added rods is great for the long pipe to properly clean it.

These worked perfectly for cleaning my wood stove flu pipe!

1 shaft came with no threads inside, it made that section useless. Everything else works ok

For less than the price of one chimney cleaning I bought these and have not paid anyone since. I use these along with a brush I bought separately, twice a season. If you are cleaning a Stainless Steel liner, be careful and buy the brush 1 inch under the diameter of the liner so as not to damage the liner on the turns, etc.

Great quality product, highly recommendedI modified it and cut some of the bristles on each side to accommodate my 6x10 oval chimney flu and it worked great, very pleased
