I am someone who is whipped for the trope - second chance romance. I'd die to read books of this trope. When I got the overview of this book, I was hellbent on reading it. The story, the characters, the overall experience was phenomenal. This book has my heart and I would pick this book as my favorite among the other books of the entire series, in a heartbeat. So I would strongly recommend this book to those who are a sucker for second chance romance just like me. That doesn't mean others shouldn't read this, I recommend this to everyone (but specially to those who are weak for second chance romance,like me). Just go for it guyss, you won't be disappointed for sure.

What do I say???? I loved this book so much. The whole story had me hooked up till the end. It was really heartbreaking seeing them break up and how much Alessandra got hurt. Kind, intelligent, and thoughtful, she has played the role of perfect wife for years. But after a decade of their marriage, she realises he is no longer the man she fell in love with. And when it becomes clear that she’ll never be his first priority, she finally takes charge of her life and leaves him.🔸🔹🔸The story continues with Dominic trying to win her wife back. He fights for their marriage with everything he has. Even if she goes on dates with other people and completely shuts him off for too many times. Although he deserved every single thing, he had it coming. I love myself some grovelling and this book had so many scenes of Dominic grovelling.🔸🔹🔸This story is much different from other Ana Huang books I’ve read but adored it nonetheless. It did get me tears because I couldn’t bear how much Ale was hurting, and how much Dom got hurt when she turned him off every-time. At last, I would say this was another great book by Ana Huang and I would highly recommend this book.🔸🔹🔸

Wonderful read..how every book in the series beautifully interconnects and spins a web of romance and attachment. Also love how the author describes various scenic locations across the globe in every book. Eagerly looking forward to Sloane and Xavier's story!

From starting with nothing to reaching success, that journey formed the heart of their love, making the later struggles more heartbreaking.Dominic's unintentional neglect, while not okay, showed the deep hurt of feeling like a stranger to your closest person. His pain became a strong part of the story.The fun banter with Aiden and Dominic's jealousy added a nice touch. A bit more of Aiden's presence could have made it even better. I wanted to know more about how they met and fell in love earlier.Overall, it's a relatable and emotional storyline. If you want a sweet yet tearful read, this is a great pick.

This is one of my favourite books..it will break your heart and make you cry but it is so well written that you will go back and reread them to have your heartbroken for the 2nd 3rd and 4th time..i felt so deeply for the Ale and i kept rooting for Dom to win her back..second chance romance is now my thing..fav couple from this series♥️♥️♥️

The book was beautifully written with the perfect amount of detail and twists. Personally I found this as a step up than King of Pride. The way it encapsulates the characters from the previous stories and plants the seeds for the next one makes it a delightful read. The focus on the “sin” is pretty good too. The dynamic of the couple was a good change of pace. Looking forward to reading the next book King of Sloth!
