Perfect for the application I needed it for
My dad needed a new computer badly. He had an all-in-one piece of junk for the last 7 years and it always had problems. I was considering an AM4 build for him but saw this while browsing. It’s a great beginner AM5 motherboard. It has 2 fan headers which was a pleasant surprise to see since most matx boards I’ve seen have 1. I used an 8500G cpu and it worked great. Didn’t have to update the BIOs. It’s a pretty basic board but it has an ARGB header as well. I didn’t use a GPU as he doesn’t need one for the work he does, so I can’t speak to that. But.. Overall it seems like a solid budget matx AM5 board. Will definitely purchase again for future builds.

Good for 65W CPUs
Using this with a Ryzen 7600 and 7800 XT. It took a while to boot but it's fast now after updating the bios. It wanted to run my GSkill Flare X5 Expo at 4800MHz by default but I was able to bump in up to 6000 no problem. This board has everything I need and nothing I don't. Keep in mind it only has 2 system fan headers and a JRGB header if you're into that sort of thing. Also I would not use any CPU higher than 65W TDP.

Worked without Bios Update
I was a bit hesitant to purchase this board after reading many reviews and watching Tech Yes City’s review on youtube. It seems that early bios revisions for this board had major compatibility issues with certain Ryzen cpus and only worked with certain brands of ram. Thankfully, my Ryzen 7500F and Teamgroup Elite DDR5 5600 Ram POST’d without issue. Memory training did not take long and before long I was able to get into bios. The only changes I made were to set a more conservative cpu fan curve so that the fan would reach 100% when the cpu got to 60C and to set ram speed to 5600mhz to match my ram. The system would not boot into windows with these settings, which was disappointing. Ive seen MSI advertise this board as compatible with Ram up to 6000mhz, but for me 5200mhz was all I could do. I made the decision to use AMD’s wraith stealth cooler because Tech Yes City’s review of the MSI A620m showed that a down draft cpu cooler kept the vrm temperatures low and made up for a lack of vrm heatsinks which are standard on more expensive motherboards. Sadly the little AMD Wraith Stealth is not enough to cool even the 7500F, which is the lowest end cpu on the AM5 platform. I did not even run cinebench, just tried a couple games. Cyberpunk 2077 with high crowds and a 60fps cap pushed the temp of the 7500F into the mid 80sC, and this was only like a 50% load. So this means I will be switching to a better tower cooler for the CPU which will not blow air directly over the VRM. To make up for this, I bought stick on vrm heatsinks on Amazon for $7. So cost of the motherboard is realistically $82 for me now, as I don’t think it would be wise to run it without heatsinks with a tower cooler as in Tech Yes City’s testing, the VRM temps were reaching 90C. Because of these high temps, MSI limits the power output of this board to 90 watts, so you should not pair this board with anything except a 7500F, 7600, or 8400F. Any CPU that draws over 90 watts will be bottlenecked by this board and limited to just 90 watts. Keep in mind though, the 8400F is a newer CPU and reviews are still stating this board is shipping with a bios too old to boot with the 8400F. So as of this moment, the 7500F and 7600 are the only CPUs I can be certain are compatible. In conclusion, this board is a great budget option as long as you work within its limitations. Pair it with a budget AM5 cpu, and if you use anything other than a down draft cpu cooler, buy some cheap stick on vrm heatsinks just to be safe. The board may be able to operate at those high temperatures, but I am sure it will live a longer life if you can keep everything running cooler.

Bad Motherboard
I normalie do not right review but I think I have to do this Time so you can beware .I am building a computer using a Ryzen 7 8700g...I had a hard time putting the rams the sockets feel like really bad quality and the problem is that I'm having no video so I try to see what the problem is and most likely is because the motherboard needs an update to work with the newest 8000 series ryzen processors so now I have to take it to a tech so they can update it because I don't have another processor to do it and it's a hassle and it's out of pocket cost the company should be updating this from the beginning I understand that the processors are pretty new but still they should put that on the description before we buy it so be careful if you're using 8000 series processors also I don't know if the socket on the ram it's not working that could be another issue that I have no video at the moment I'm stuck with everything

Small and cheap motherboard
Snagged for cheap and it got the job done. Make sure to look and see if you need a bios update for the cpu you use for it.

BUYER BEWARE
I got this motherboard back in February and although it was cheap, that doesn’t mean it comes any setbacks. Unless you plan to use Ethernet, you are going to have get yourself a wireless WiFi adapter, but when it comes to getting big GPU’s, it will most likely be blocked limiting your options. Best do your research if you do want to use this motherboard, but still decent.
