We use these at work. I wanted one for home so I could connect 2 additional monitors via DP ports and for additional usb devices etc. It is thunderbolt so will charge compatable dell laptops with thunderbolt socket. It connects all extra devices seemlessly. Also the price is more than decent compared to the pice of others on Amazon for a brand new one. Yes it is reconditioned but who knows, it works perfectly and also hides so many cables. Top stuff
