not at all like pictured
This insulation is not partially split longitudinally and is not very thick. It was rolled up in a bag. I had to split it with a pair of scissors in order to install it over my exterior 3/4" copper water supply line, then duct tape it to seal it. It is soft and pliable, rather than stiff like other insulation.

It worked, but.
It worked, but it was thin and the foam was too soft for my project. Foam would tear easily.
